I've just emailed them this:
I am really disappointed with this. I paid for postage of an item that you missold me and you are offering me a free return? How does that make up for misselling an item contrary to the Misrepresentation Act 1967 which:
Protects buyers from being persuaded to purchase something that is not as described. Misrepresentation occurs when a seller:
Knowingly misrepresents information
Makes a statement without believing it to be true
Makes a statement recklessly
Fails to disclose important information
I think that it is clear that this has been knowingly misrepresented, or you have made a statement recklessly. You then compounded this by quietly changing the labelling to amend the price from £59.95 to £54.95
I would like the product that I was sold rather than one of a lesser value.
I await your response.
