It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Reveals from 7am GMT each morning please. This is to harmonise discussion/shift work/different time zones.

Me too! Although my son opened it, so maybe he opened the wrong one??

I've double checked and I definitely opened the right one

I also got something different today. I like the formula but not sure the shade is the most wearable for me.

Yes we had a laugh about the description of this and the reviews on the Liberty Beauty Drop threads when the contents was announced. I was looking forward to this just for the intrigue! I don’t mind it. I don’t know what that says about me. It’s been sprayed over my dressing gown and I’ll report back if DH makes any “witty” comments. Which he absolutely would do if he thinks I smell like weed and a rich people celeb orgy. I’ll see how it settles through the day as the reviews seem to say it gets worse, though a new one since summer says they find it comforting. I kind of think it smells Harry Potter, you know the smell you’d expect if you went into Dumbledore’s office.

Can’t say I’m keen on today’s just from smelling the bottle. I’ll give it a proper spray later.

Oh this is not what I got!!! I was a bit 🤷🏼‍♀️ about this mornings as I was expecting a Saturday surprise. I'm now excited to see when I get my Bibbi. I loved Ghost of Tom last year so I'm hoping it is another lovely scent that I can hope to be able to buy without care at some point in the future 😂

I quite like todays fragrance - I may be in the minority tho 😂

I don't have this calendar just love reading about what people get in the various calendars.
I have done a public service and checked the contents of the calendar and it looks like it is a substitute in some calendars and not from a different day so no risk of spoiling it for any other days on this occasion.

Good grief -I am actually quite worried about what this says about my sense of smell but I LOVE the perfume!! Really love it -have spritzed it generously and had been sitting here happily sniffing my arm (bit sad that...) before I settled down to enjoy the chat and love from this thread 😂. Just goes to show how difficult it must be for the buyers to curate these calendars and try to cover all bases.

The perfume is very strong, I sprayed a tiny amount on the box and it's giving me a headache. This will definitely be donated as I don't dislike anyone enough to gift it too them. I did have a giggle at the reviews

Just to say I have the same incorrect item as @propertealady - it is included in the overall list of items on the liberty advent calendar sold out page, so I'm presuming this has been packed incorrectly in some calendars, it's not a substitute...

@nearly61 I agree with you - I really like this fragrance too. Ive been very pleased with the advent calendar so far and there's been nothing I won't use so far. I can't remember any of the remaining contents and I chose this AC because it had less make up than most of the others, but no doubt there will be yet another black mascara or lipstick at some point 😆

@BakeOffRewatch I have a candle called Dumbledore's Office. You're right, it smells a lot like this 😂. It's actually really nice on.

I am wearing the perfume and as the day is progressing I feel like it’s getting mustier and dustier. I weirdly like it. I feel like I’ve just rolled through a pile of leaves and then entered some kind of Victorian artists’ salon!

Double opening for me today as I worked a ridiculously long day yesterday

Adore the hand cream - I get through tonnes and I really like the texture and fragrance.

Have sprayed the perfume and will see how it settles. First thoughts weee off my granny - talc, hardly powders, dusty bedrooms, doilies and sunlight. - I'm not against that but feels very 'old' - we shall see.
