This is the thread for daily opening of the H&B advent calendar. As with all the threads, the only firm rule is not discussing a drawer's contents before the day. The usual timeline is no spoilers before 7am but we can agree a different time if people want to.

You should definitely be able to see it on your skin. As I said earlier, it's not highly scented but you should be able to tell that some has come out

Used this on my son today as he was at home sick! Not sure if it balanced him though! Not had a roll on before so will try it out. Scalp massager I am also having some hair loss and issues so hoping to try this tomorrow morning! I normally use wild too so I'm eager to try this out! Thanks for this thread.

Dr Organic eye serum today. I’ll definitely use this, I’m a fan of serums and the other Dr Organic stuff I’ve tried has been good.

Agreed, this looks great! I get dryness and eczema around my eyes and I'm a bi wary of eye creams but this is fragrance free and organic so I'm hoping it'll soothe rather than irritate.

I’m pleased with today’s product as I do like to use an eye cream. I’ve already put a bit on. It’s absorbed well. Definitely not greasy.

Love today's product as needed a new one and haven't used in a while!

I’ve just applied the rollerball from yesterday after a stressful morning and I’m hoping it restores balance shortly 😄

I’m using products as I open them (apart from the scalp massager, which I’ve forgotten to use again!).

When I started to get the more expensive advent calendars years ago I would put the products aside and not use them for a while. But I buy much less nowadays as I’ve found the products that work for me and tend to stick to them, so I don’t have the cupboard full of products that I used to.

I’m so happy with everything so far. I’ve never had a high end calendar but had H&B 4 or 5 times. I always end up using almost everything or topping up Xmas gifts.

Mixing the roller ball with a carrier oil is a great idea. I put it in my handbag but I might try to get the roller ball out.

I am here waiting for you all to tell me what the product is like ! 😄..

I am not opening the actual boxes yet due to storage and keeping things organised!

Will open them when I am ready to wrap /put in hamper box.

I also realised ....the roller ball I was talking about was not from H&B ...as I have not opened the drawer yet 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂...

It's a small bottle of Q&A Ceramide Body Lotion today. I was going to keep it for travel but then remembered that I never really use body lotion when I'm away so cracked it open!
It smells lovely and sinks in quickly. I'm going to make proper use of it after my shower

I never remember to use body lotion, at home or away! Will try to remember to use it more - I still have half a tube from two Christmases ago, and my shins get really dry so I ought to.

The body lotion is really lovely. Smells nice.

Never used this one before and I use a LOT of body lotion! Do you find everytime you open the actual drawers it just smells lovely of all nice things! Makes me happy lol

This is a lovely cream, I agree it has been a lovely advent so far, have given it to my DD as she helps me open it and loves a good scent

Oooh I love body lotion and get through gallons of the stuff so very happy with today's offerings and it's a brand I've not before.

Would anybody be interested in doing swops after Christmas? For example I've a roller ball I probably won't use ..,

I'm very happy with today's too. It's not huge but that's OK, given the price of the calendar. I'm pretty low on body lotion so definitely a timely one.

Definitely up for doing swaps in January. It's one of my favourite bits of the whole beauty advent thing.

I am really enjoying H&B so far. I love JL too but some of those products are so pricey I'm never going to re-buy but H&B products are much more affordable. I'm already thinking of buying myself a bottle of this body lotion and at £10 full price, it'd be a treat (I normally buy a big bottle of whatever's on offer in Tesco!) but not out of reach.

Today’s looks good. I saw the size and thought I’d keep it for travel but I also forget to use it when away, so I’ll use it tonight. I’m a little disappointed by the size for a body lotion (especially as I slather it on), but as others have said you can’t really expect more considering the price of the calendar!

I used the eye serum last night; it made the area feel quite tight but hopefully it was doing some good!

And yes, the drawers smell lovely when you open them but when it arrived the smell made me think that something might have leaked! I didn’t check - as I didn’t see anything oozing out of the box I just hoped all was ok!
