Is this bag nice?

I wanted to treat myself to a nice bag because I have recently reached a personal milestone. So I bought myself this Coach bag. I'm not normally a fan of Coach at all, but a (much younger!) cousin of mine was carrying it recently and I just haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I remember she said it was "going viral on tiktok" (I don't have tiktok so hadnt come across it). I really like the patent brown-ness of it and I don't usually like big logos but I feel like the C in the logo isn't that common (I could be really wrong here as I am just not that familiar with coach bags).

I just bought the bag online and am now wondering is it something that is supposed to be for much younger girls? Does it look tacky? Have I lost my mind 😂

I am 35 FWIW and these days looking like a very frazzled overweight mum of a toddler ie. not at all cool or svelte etc. To give an example of what I would like my style to be: I carry bags like the mulberry bayswater (I would love a bag from Celine but can't justify the price) or would like to dress like the models on the Sezane website (when I lose some weight).

I think it looks like a shrunken school satchel i’m afraid.

I think if you have to ask if it’s nice, then you should return it. If it arrived and you instantly loved it and it were looking forward to using it, you wouldn’t have posted. I’ve found if I have to ask for opinions on clothing, accessories, then they’re the items I’ve returned or regretted not returning.

Ooh that's an interesting point. I took it as a sign to buy it because I have been thinking about it for weeks now. I never ever ever spend this much on myself so maybe it's the guilt of the pricetag.

I love it and don't think it's meant for any age! It's clearly been on your mind and that's a sign it's your bag! I think you'd regret it if you returned it. Keep it and enjoy it!

I love it too. The colour is beautiful. I have several Coach bags and they’re all great quality, really well made and I love using them.
From what you’ve said about your style it sounds like the bag is very ‘you’ - if you love it, that’s all that matters.

I love it. I’ve got a number of Coach bags. This is the Tabby, I think? It will wear really well, and they have a good resale value if you get bored with it.

Agree with a PP that if you’re asking for reassurance, you should return it. If you loved it, you wouldn’t need to ask.

I love everything about it, especially the colour BUT hate the big C. Somehow makes it look tacky.

I like the shape and the colour and the length of the handle. The only drawback would be its weight. I looked at one for my DD and it felt heavy.

I think it’s lovely and that glossy chestnut has a real 70s vibe. It fits perfectly with the Sézane look imho.
