Please help me fix my dream heels!

I've finally managed to get my hands on the Kurt Geiger Pierre heels after years of really wanting them. I got the matching bag and purse as undergrad graduation gifts but I could just never justify the price.

I managed to find them today in TK Maxx and I really want to wear them for my masters graduation next month. The thing is, they're missing the right ankle strap. I got a huge discount for this thinking I'd maybe be able to buy a replacement from KG online but I can't see anywhere that they would do this since I didn't buy directly from them. Still worth reaching out but I'm not holding out hope.

Does anybody have any suggestions on anywhere that might sell them, from factory damaged shoes maybe or returns etc? Does anybody know someone who works for KG and may be able to work some magic? I'm praying I can find one as although I can take the left one off and wear them without, they won't be how they are meant to be :(

Amazon have loads of options. Just search for replacement ankle straps for heels.

Do you have a cobbler near you? I had some straps added to ballet flats, you can't tell they weren't made like that. Look great.

Yes I had a replacement strap put on by a cobblers. Was expensive though! I can't see how you could wear them without the strap - surely the shoe will just fall off?

Look on Etsy and buy 2 similar or slightly different colours

I have had a look on Amazon as I've bought plain black replacement straps for other shoes before but was really hoping to get the matching green as they are just stunning all together with the bag. Diamanté or silver might work though!

I do wear heels a lot and having practiced today 😅 the yellow strap does fit around your foot in a way that you could, very carefully wear them without. But it will be awkward!

Graduations are fabulous. I'll let you into a little secret. Sometimes, for the staff on the stage, sitting on the world's most uncomfortable chairs, the wonderful shoes give us a real lift.

If you're finding it difficult to find a strap in the right colour, would you consider a ribbon which you could wrap around your ankle in a similar style?

Measure your buckles as you might be able to get dupes online, but you will need to know the size.

Then unstitch the plain buckles from the silver heel straps you will buy online because metallic green doesn't seem to exist and replace with the diamante dupes to get a close-as-possible appearance to the originals.

It's worth emailing KG anyway because they might sell you a strap.

Thank you everyone for your help and for the congrats on my masters. I didn't get an in person ceremony for undergrad due to covid so really excited for this one.

I've emailed KG but heard nothing yet. A few options here that will definitely work well if they can't help though!!

The eBay seller that @ButtSurgery linked also has a green as well as a gold strap.

I recommend buying that £18 pair on Vinted now before someone else buys them, so you've got the certainty of the correct strap. Then, if KG come through with a spare, you can always resell the Vinted pair.
