On the hunt for jumpers to wear with skinnies

I pretty much live in black skinnies and boots from now until March-ish and I’m looking for a couple of new jumpers (or cardigans) to wear with them but for some reason I’m finding it difficult this year! I think because I have put on a little bit of weight and I’m a bit self conscious.

I prefer a slightly looser and longer jumper for skinny jeans to balance out my bottom half. Ideally I’m looking to spend under £80 and as much wool as possible (😬).

You might be finding it difficult this season because most stores are now about looser/wider jeans with a slightly cropped/neater top half.

I haven't looked at the other stories website for a month or so but they do have gorgeous knitwear as a rule. I also got a lovely one from Oliver Bonas last year. Also try Uniqlo

For budget ideas H&M have some lovely neutral coloured basics, jumpers, roll necks and cardies. I was having a browse today and was tempted to get some.

Why are people linking to really brightly coloured jumpers when the OP has posted a very classic cream jumper?

You don't say how tall you are, but don't discount the smaller sizes in men's sweaters. M and S men's start at about 36 inch chest size, and they're likely to be longer in the body, if oversized is what you're after. A classic roll neck sweater has got to be the ultimate gender neutral garment, after all. 🤷‍♀️
