They look edgy and cool but am I walking into a hair style disaster?

Would you recommend a shag? Are they as low maintenance and fuss free as they are painted out to be?

Yes, if you're confident your hairdresser knows what they're doing i.e. has experience and tailors it to your hair type.

No-one here can really recommend you get a certain hairstyle if we don't know what your hair looks like now.

It might suit you, it might not. You might be able to style it or you might struggle 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes surprisingly fabulous, but depressingly overwhelmingly disappointing in my experience (but then I'm usually too tired to put in the required effort, tbf).

If you have a bit of wave to your hair, go for it. I have mine in that style and it's pretty much wash and go because the layers encourage my natural waves.
