The tartan shoes and trews are awful, you can buy things like that from the tartan tat shops on Princes St for a tenth of the price. A lot of the tourists do.

Yes. My first thought was that it looked a bit ‘Olympic’ as well.

When I first came on mumsnet decades ago it was all Boden and nappy cream.
I was very skint and couldn't afford the pretty sun dresses.
Now I've lost five stone I was looking forward to a nice bit of Boden tweed.
If I see another poly mix shapeless navy print dress I might scream. As for the mixed print hippy crap, just tragic.

Yikes! Not so long ago even cheaper clothes were made from better fabrics. Now even expensive ones are really shabbily made the fabrics and grim.

Well I will admit to recently buying two tops but nothing with tartan. Was looking foe a nice work dress so it's nobody's child now I think. The pom pom trimmed tops are nice btw! There sizings gone mad too though

Boden used to be so good! But now I can't ever find anything nice, and the rare occasions I do, it's terrible quality (kids pyjamas faded and pattern wore off a bit after the first wash). I don't think they will survive unless they change tbh.
