Short length jeans

I used to wear M&S short length jeans for years but now they are much longer, same with Tu and Next. Any recommendations for 27 or 28" length jeans?

I agree, I had to take up my last pair of M&S regular jeans now I'm in the short size. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Don't know where to go after that!

It's so annoying, for years they fit perfectly. Why do they do this?

Chums do short lengths, if you can get past the horrible styles they have for women (I am female but buy men's jeans as they fit me better). Otherwise, look on Ebay for used denim jeans.

You have to pay to use the Telegraph so I cant read that article

I am also interested in this, Im not even short at 5.5 and a half, but I wear 27 inch jeans

I have some from Peacocks but of course they are viewed as an old lady shop but they do 27 inch jeans, they're not great. I have the black.

Im looking for a rreally dark indigo, slim leg, not too stretchy (no jeggings horrors) with short legs.

Land's End. Sizing is always consistent and you can rely on being able to just open the packet, put on the jeans and walk out the door. Life changing for those short of leg.

purpleme12 · 29/08/2024 08:56

Next petite

Userinneedoftea · 29/08/2024 08:59

Have you tried the extra short in m and s? I used to wear the short ones now have to wear extra short (I'm 5ft1).
The other issue is you can only get them on line and often they're not in stock.

Thisoldheartofmine · 29/08/2024 09:04

Lands End if you can afford them.

Summerhillsquare · 29/08/2024 09:13

Men's jeans?

JohnCravensNewsround · 29/08/2024 09:30

Yes, helpful sticker "improved length". My legs ain't improving their length. Idiots

Chewbecca · 29/08/2024 09:35

Yes, M&S extra short are ok for me now, but I can never find the bloody things & certainly never in store so I have given up. I used to like Wallis petite jeans too but alas, not any more.

White Stuff and Next mainly for me now.

CrumpetsandJammmm · 29/08/2024 09:39

Next petite work pretty well for me and I’m 5’1. Now though I tend to roll most jeans up at the bottom, I prefer how they look that way

I've looked in store and online but can't find them, also 5'1!

Not sure I would find men's jeans to fit me, I'm 5'1?

Yes that's what I want, indigo, straight leg and short! Never had an issue in all my years (50) getting shorter length jeans, until now

OP posts:
purpleme12 · 29/08/2024 09:43

I have no idea, they rucked up at my feet, either they weren't exactly 27" or I've shrunk. I just want them to sit at my ankle

Ooo, just managed to find an extra short pair in the right size, colour and straight leg in M&S - there were none when I made this post! It was the last pair and every other size is sold out

@soupfiend Sorry Just seen these cotton traders are black, not dark indigo. But 27"

Edited

I guess they do bunch up at the bottom a bit when I look

I think they look fine on me though so it's ok 😂
