Please find me a modern, comfy pair of trousers that I can wear to college with trainers

I'm going for relaxed but stylish- Toasty/Hush etc vibes. I'm a size 14 and 5.8. I'm also a really lazy online shopper.

I need them for college (I'm 58 but doing a masters), so don't want to look too 'smart'. Extra points for an elasticated waist!!

I’ve just bought the wide pleat trousers and they do come in Long. It’s a separate listing on the website (they don’t show the trousers and then the different lengths are in the size drop-down like any sensible website would do so you have to hunt around). Annoying website, good trousers.

It was the curved Baker trousers that I was looking at, and they definitely only come in one leg length - 29.5 inches, which is no good if you are tall.

@RampantIvy ah sorry, got my post order muddled and thought we were talking about the Uniqlo pleated ones! No, even the 31” ‘long’ Uniqlo ones are only good with flats.

Don't care. I love mine , I'm 56

HUSH easy trousers are my go to for work away days. Elasticated waist, comfy and look good :) always worth a look on vinted.

Did a similar search myself and found these in a Bershka store. They come in black too and when I say the material is THE SOFTEST EVER. It’s lovely. Really reasonable - I love them. They are long - I’m 5ft 4” and they brush the floor but they’re okay with chunky soles

Currently wearing these to death, have a similar dark grey pair too, nice fabric although I don't usually like Zara for trousers, these are good.

And too short for anyone who needs a longer leg length than 29 inches.

They’re not too high waisted, have pockets. Look good with trainers.

I'd find some well fitted wide leg joggers. Wear with a simple T-shirt, trainers and a Mac. Super comfortable and looks great too
