The print makes it a bit fussy for my taste. I think you can do better.

BobbyBiscuits · 23/07/2024 21:10

I like it. I'd wear brighter, blingier accessories with it. But it's cute. The pattern isn't exciting though, if you're looking for a bold look.

Purplecatshopaholic · 23/07/2024 21:30

I really like that.

BigDahliaFan · 23/07/2024 21:31

Not bold just not daft!

No. It isn't.

StarlightLady · 24/07/2024 07:15

First question, does the pattern join up properly on the seams? I’ve just taken a dress back to M&S because the pattern join (or lack of one) is awful.

Second question is how practical is it when you go for a wee? Men wee standing up and l often think jumpsuits were male designed.

parrotonmyshoulder · 24/07/2024 07:18

I have this and love it. Very easy to wear and no difficulties in the loo. Comfortable and fits me in leg and body. Size 10 5’6
But I’m not very stylish.

NextFriYAY · 24/07/2024 07:18

Not keen on the colour, pattern or leg width. The fabric looks a bit flammable too.

helpmum2003 · 24/07/2024 07:24

Sorry I don't like the colour or pattern.

Aixellency · 24/07/2024 09:06

Completely inoffensive everyday wear. ‘Nice’ is probably the worst one could say of it.

(Not something made to impress - so not event wear.)

rookiemere · 24/07/2024 09:08

It's something you'd need to try on, as it would depend so much on your colouring and skin tone.

rookiemere · 24/07/2024 09:10

Bear in mind the model is wearing heels as well, so unless you're comfortable wearing heels ( I'm not) you will need to think what footwear works with it and possibly turn it up.

janeintheframe · 24/07/2024 09:11

It reminds me a little of pyjamas for some reason op, for me it’s a no

ineedtogwtoutbeforeitatoohot · 24/07/2024 09:18

The style is lovely but the colour and pattern is very dowdy

Wishihadanalgorithm · 24/07/2024 09:23

I like it. It’s more grown up than those which are brightly coloured. You could
possibly accessories with a wide belt (gold?) and statement jewellery.

ididnotcapturethecastle · 24/07/2024 09:50

No.

It looks like something that Maria would have made for the Von Trapp children to wear

Yes I'm not stylish too. But it gives me a waist which I like!

phase 8 jumpsuit

I bought this one then returned it as it was just a bit much for me for a Friday night out with friends. But maybe it's better?

The one in my first post - the fabric is a nice viscose and the colours suit me.

BigDahliaFan · 24/07/2024 09:55

This was my second choice - a colour that suits me too...but just felt a bit 'much'.

Is this a nice jumpsuit?

This is much better. Though I still think you can do even better. I like jumpsuits to be sleek?

GoingRoundThatBlockAgain · 24/07/2024 10:07

The darker one is a perfectly acceptable everyday throw-it-on jumpsuit. The brighter green is more ‘going out’ but as with everything, it’s how you wear it.

I would wear the bright one with trainers to the pub AND I’d wear it with heels to a wedding or out for a posher meal, but I do tend to dress up rather than be very casual as my general style.

What I don’t do is give one single fuck what other people think of my clothes. If I like it, I wear it. I put it on and forget about it.

I wear a lot of jumpsuits and tend towards wider legs or at the very most tapered, not skinny. That floaty shape of sleeve on your two doesn’t work for me (either on tops or jumpsuits) as I’m quite busty and I just think it makes the whole area look bigger.

BigDahliaFan · 24/07/2024 10:23

Ah the floaty sleeve thing...oddly, even though I'm very busty, a floaty sleeve with a V neck balances me out as long as you can see my waist....

Today I'm wearing a floaty sleeved v neck thing but you can't see my waist and frankly I look like a busty battleship in full sale....but I was in a rush.

Ah, ok - Friday night out with friends?

The first is too underwhelming - it’s running into Tesco or entertaining kids in the garden wear.

The second is Way Too Shiny!

There are millions of other choices.

However. If I were in my 50s <shakes memory box> and needing ‘out with friends’ clothes this year, I’d be looking for co ords, not a jumpsuit.

Something like this, with the trousers:

Or maybe this sort of thing:

MotherofGorgons · 24/07/2024 10:37

Yes ,second one in another fabric perhaps would look better.
