I ordered the sleep kit! Very happy

KiraCarmen · 31/10/2024 11:24

Hi. What is it in sleep kit? I have email about: glam, man, fragrance kit but not a sleep

OvaHere · 31/10/2024 11:33

Does anyone have an opinion on the fragrances? I'm tempted but not familiar with any of them.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 31/10/2024 12:10

Of course www.libertylondon.com/uk/liberty-beauty-christmas-cracker-set-000824326.html

Thank you so much

NoAprilFool · 31/10/2024 13:19

I was disappointed to miss out on the sleep set last year so was quicker off the mark this time! Also got the fragrance one. Cost me the grand total of £0 and stops my internal debate over whether to add money to get the advent calendar. 😀

SoloCat · 31/10/2024 13:47

I bought the sleep and scent set. I am currently using my mini hot water bottle at night from a previous kit, need a back up…just in case 😁

AnneShirleysNewDress · 31/10/2024 13:48

I went for the sleep, used my credit and only paid £12 so it feels like a bargain 😂

DaisyDando · 31/10/2024 16:55

I’m really grateful for this thread because I saw the email and didn’t scroll past the first two kits. Then I read on here about a new scent one and back I went scrambling! I like having a few different perfumes on the go, even if the odd one definitely doesn’t suit me. Sleep kit looks cute!

Growlybear83 · 31/10/2024 17:05

I'm grateful to people on this thread too, although I don't think my bank balance would agree 😆. I would miss loads of exciting things if it wasn't for what I see on here. The scent kit found its way into my basket and I told myself I was getting a real bargain once I'd used my beauty drop balance and my £20 reward voucher.

I got the sleep one! SO THRILLED, I've wanted a mini hottie since the last one which I missed!

With vouchers it was £27.50!!

What a palaver! Turned out I'd ordered the men's kit. So that was cancelled and I reordered the sleep kit.

Then it didn't apply my vouchers!

Luckily the customer service was really good and it's all sorted. £22 hard cash, mini hottie is mine!!

LightandBreezy · 31/10/2024 19:08

Could someone post a link to the perfume kit?

Cyclingmummy1 · 31/10/2024 19:25

BIossomtoes · 31/10/2024 09:43

It’s been fine for me. I’m currently using it as a morning cleanser. Mind you, I seem to have a hide like a rhino!

It's weird, my skin was fine after half an hour or so but it went bright red. We were in a hotel on Friday night so I assumed it was the heat but the same happened morning and night.

Zoetrope1 · 01/11/2024 08:46

Strange that the scent kit contains both dear polly and Ghost of Tom - they are created by the same perfumer and smell almost identical!

OvaHere · 31/10/2024 11:33

Does anyone have an opinion on the fragrances? I'm tempted but not familiar with any of them.

I've tried a lot of these- I think it's an incredible kit tbh, ended up buying it entirely with accumulated BD funds and vouchers so very happy!

The only criticism of it is that there are two pairs of scents (Dear Polly/Ghost of Tom and I Don't Know What/M+ Ginger) which are close to each other.

Not tried the Hera but sounds promising, people comparing it to Scherzo.
Matiere Premiere vanilla - it's a high quality coconut vanilla
Perfumer H Rain Cloud - smells like a sophisticated version of L'Occitane Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner - this is a good thing. Light orange blossom and angelica.
Perfumer H Ink - Smells like a moneyed academic from a WASP background :) The Perfumer H scents are expensive so these two make up a lot of the value of the bag. You can only get them in the discovery set or full sizes usually. They are simultaneously light and expensive smelling, very sophisticated.
Vilhelm Dear Polly and Ghost of Tom are both black tea scents.
DS and Durga I Don't Know What and the Escentric Molecules are both Iso E super based scents, they will dry down into a light spicy woody scent which comes in and out of your awareness. The Escentric Molecules has a realistic but fleeting ginger.

Haven't tried the Air de Bretagne or the Tobacco Veloute but they both sound intriguing.

ferretface · 01/11/2024 09:54

*volute - a tobacco veloute would be interesting!

Thank you for the really detailed response. I did really well not buying it yesterday. Now I'm tempted again. 😁

Couperi · 01/11/2024 10:11

I went for the scent kit, only paid £38 after using beauty drop and loyalty rewards. Will sell a couple of them I know I don't like but looking forward to trying some of the others. I thought the sleep kit was a bit disappointing tbh.

IDontHateRainbows · 01/11/2024 10:39

The only one that really took my fancy was the scent kit. The christmas crackers look interesting, I can only imagine being rich enough to have crackers like that to hand out after christmas dinner, ours are usually the cheapo versions from aldi with a plastic toy and crap joke.

I have both these perfumes from an old advent calendar and beauty drop. To me they are very different as DP is more Tea and GOT more Smokey. Yet having read your post I checked and both have the same top notes? How strange! I like DP and find GOT too intense

Christmas us only me and my mum so I'm tempted with the crackers, I've had nars beauty in the past
I'd rather something like this than plastic tat
Has anyone seen any other decent beauty crackers?

BCSurvivor · 01/11/2024 15:47

I'm so torn with the scent kit.
I'm still working my way through the two previous ones.
Does anyone know what Hera smells like?
