Created with my eyes shut as I'm impatiently waiting for my box!

@Toffeesaucey The perfume is 5ml, and it's got a little wand thingy rather than a spray. It smells really lovely.

AprilLady · 15/10/2024 11:55

Mine has just arrived too. It is another good box I think. Exception is the small sample of a new brand and product “elevated by neuroscience, leveraging the powerful link between the skin and emotions” - who writes this nonsense, and do they honestly expect people to believe it?

Growlybear83 · 15/10/2024 12:00

The Suqqu hydrating lotion is 30ml, the Phillip Kingsley frizz fighting serum is 50ml, the Sisley masque cream is 10ml, the Kat Burki vitamin c face cream is 15 ml, and the nail Active Glow 15ml. And I've just found two x 2ml samples of Neurae skin creams tucked away at the bottom.

IDontHateRainbows · 15/10/2024 12:08

Mine has literally just arrived.
Manicurist active glow nail polish - probably won't use
Kat Burki vitamin c cream - I got this in the founders edit and really liked it. The 30ml size sells at £55 so this is £27.50 worth!
Suqqu hydrating lotion - quite like my hydrating toners as an alternative to a glow toner
sana jardin sandlewood temple - 5ml - this is lovely, had it in an AC last year
sisley black rose cream mask - looking forward to giving it a go!
Philip Kingsley frizz fighting gloss - at least it's not elasticiser this time!

All in all not a bad box

AprilLady · 15/10/2024 12:09

@Growlybear83 it is a perfume spray - the cap is a little stiff to remove though.

Its not a spray, it has a wand to dab on the skin. Easier than a dab bottle where you have to turn it upside down, although I prefer a spray personally

RJnomore1 · 15/10/2024 12:12

Oh no. A sana jardin perfume.

it’s fine to remortgage for perfumes isn’t it? 🙈

on the bright side the Space NK perfume advent was released today and I am not tempted at all

Noeggsontoast · 15/10/2024 12:15

Mine is definitely a spray bottle

Very definitely a spray - see photo

Mine's definitely not a spray - sounds like there's two versions.

Growlybear83 · 15/10/2024 12:19

😆😆. I've been very stupid - the top was just very stiff on mine. When it wouldn't come off, I unscrewed it and thought the tube attached to the pump was a little wand. But now I've seen the other pictures, I've given the top of mine a harder pull and it has indeed come off to reveal a little spray 😆😆

Noeggsontoast · 15/10/2024 12:19

@listsandbudgets mine was the PK product. They're in everything and none of them do anything for me. If it was Aveda I wouldn't mind.

I was equally as stupid!

BCSurvivor · 15/10/2024 12:21

Oohhh, that looks like a lovely box, thank you @Growlybear83

Mystery2345 · 15/10/2024 12:24

I too have received my box and feel a bit non plussed - although really wanted to try the nail polish so that's worth it alone I guess. I know it's not elasticiser but another blinking Philip Kingsley product... Kind of wish they'd stop the perfume samples as I am pretty set in my ways there - maybe I am not the target customer! Need to have a think!

IDontHateRainbows · 15/10/2024 12:29

Interestingly the blurb in the box says to put the suqqu hyrdating lotion on AFTER serum. I've always been of the view that serum goes on after toner/lotion/essence/whatever they call it these days?

Same one. Was particuarly miffed as it was in recent GWP and I've not started that one yet

I just don't get why Liberty have associated themselves with what is basically a pretty bog standard rather boring brand. I can get it in Boots and M&S if I want it (which I don't!)

I do like the rest though.

I'm off to try to get the lid off my perfume in a bit.

I thought the same! It’s actually a spray. Pull the black lid straight upwards (took some force), without any twisting, and it should reveal the spray pump!

I’ve tried the polish quickly on 1 nail. It seems nice. Happy with that.

IDontHateRainbows · 15/10/2024 12:36

Anyone interested in the vit c cream, I have tried this before and can confirm it is lovely - rich without being greasy and with a decent dose of vit c (I think 15%) in it.

All in all I'm not disappointed in this drop, although it's not as good as the last one. If anyone from Liberty is reading this, please for the love of god drop the PK though

LoveLabradors · 15/10/2024 12:37

I’m not a fan of the manicurist active glow and frizz really isn’t a concern for me with my fine hair. Would’ve liked to try the perfume but overall I don’t have fomo unlike with the July box. So I’m happy to carry on sitting out the beauty drop for a while longer! I guess the boxes are very much personal tastes and needs, they can’t cater for every skin and hair type. I suppose that’s why they rarely ever include make up.

Wild0212 · 15/10/2024 12:44

has anyone sold much on vinted of unwanted items? How much lower than rrp do you put them on for normally?

Check out the prices other people are asking. As a buyer I always go for the cheapest including postage. Some of the eBay and Vinted prices are ambitious to say the least - and they’re the ones that don’t sell.

violetmondays · 15/10/2024 12:54

I paid £9.50 plus postage on Vinted for an extra pot of the liquid eye patch but I really like it, if that helps.

I'm interested! Are you looking to swap / sell?
