It's going to be so hard not to dive in to the calendar & put it away till December.
But I am a strong determined woman so I know I can leave it alone till December 1st

I got an “It’s (almost) time!” email telling me to watch out for a dispatch email between 27th August and 3rd September, but not an actual dispatch email. I’ll check the contents, ask again here is anyone wants to swap my drawers of doom (the Granado and Liberty candles and OTO pillow spray). I wouldn’t mind collecting the Byredo lipstick colours for example, or swapping for something from beauty kits or another AC. Then I’ll put it away and forget about it, whilst perusing other ACs and waiting for bargains and probably never buying.

Probably the next part of my post is more for the other AC thread - as there’s been more reveals I’m really happy with the Liberty AC. Partly that’s down to it being my first one ever. I really like that they went actually full size on the full size, rather than available to buy so we say it’s full size. The Sunday Riley in the Liberty is 30ml, in the Cult Beauty it’s 15ml. There’s one eyeshadow in a colour I’ll use up, rather than a mini palette. There’s an eye cream I can actually use enough to see if there’s a difference. I don’t really want 15ml or 7ml of any skincare, even if they’re things I want to try or are very pricey.

I burned the Herlum “Comfortable Silence” candle today, can’t remember where I got it (just checked it’s the Liberty Says Relax Kit https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/liberty-says-relax-kit-R507262006.html) to try to get into candles and see if my DoD can be salvaged. I don’t get it! I can barely smell it and it takes ages to diffuse. I’d much rather have a Bamford or Olverum bath oil with a strong smell and enjoy the smell around me afterwards. Is that just a poor candle and I should keep trying?

Ooh - my advent calendar has just been delivered! Now to sit on my hands for the next 3 months!

I lit the Diptyque candle last night from the GWP.
When I sniffed it in the box I was a bit unsure, but - oh my goodness - it's gorgeous when its lit!

That’s a particularly poor candle IMO. Try a Diptyque much better throw.

I was very pleasantly surprised to get home to find I've been sent the July box after only resubscribing last week. Definitely a step up from the last couple I'd had. I've been desperate to try the liquid eye patch after reading about it on here. A lovely treat on a miserable day!

Though there is one of those 10ml fragrances included in the Liberty Advent Calender.

I was thinking of resubing in Sept to hopefully get that and Octobers box then have a bit of credit for Christmas sales (and free P&P so I can use up a £10 loyalty voucher).

Those who have resubed… how close to the next box do you think I could go and get two boxes for the three month sub? Obviously the next box might be just as good and I could end up keeping my sub.

Just popping on to say that the rumour that we are all vipers on mn has been shattered by @Sunnydaysarehereonceagain who I can't thank enough for her kindness.

Also the legendary wrapping skillz. I just hope that my parcel wrapped with my head totally somewhere else will give you the lols.

Don't know if this is really relevant but if anyone is a Clinique fan, they're doing a reasonable GWP at Boots. I forgot to put a lipstick in my bag on the way to work yesterday - first day in the office post hols - so popped in and got the GWP with 2 products.

The lovely @HellsBells67 has not been efficient and prompt but has included extra goodies in her parcel! 5 stars, recommend.

I do not recommend @WeAreBorg who hasn’t got her shit together sufficiently to get to the post office

I’ve just received my Liberty advent calendar, it’s gorgeous! It just smells nice even before you open it! They used DPD here. No issues with the box (think it was mentioned on other thread). I've checked the contents, all good too.

Would anyone (whose username I recognise from thread) like to do swaps of these two candles and OTO pillow mist?

I got the Byredo in “Reunion”, so would be up for a swap of the above for “Red Armchair” or “Red and Blue”. Generally into serums, am a black eye liner user and moisturisers so I’m open to swapping anything from another AC, Kit or GWP. Not perfumes or candles though. Oh also I adore Ouai St Barts which I think some people had.

I got the director's cut and GWP sets and there are a few things I'd like to sell. I noticed there are quite a few listings on eBay and vinted already for those products. Wondering if any of you have experience with selling on those sites, does it work? Considering the other listings, I wonder if there is a bit of an oversupply? Thanks :)

Not selling but buying. A few times I’ve bought duplicates of products I particularly like. I never bid on anything on eBay, if it’s not buy now I ignore it. Prices tend to be lower on Vinted. There’s always an over supply initially then the rush dies down.

I’ve just sold a couple of bits on vinted. I looked at the prices already on there to see a value and priced to sell. I wanted rid of them rather than trying to recoup costs. I have a couple of things not sold still so figure no market for the less well known brands. I also buy from eBay or vinted if there are things I want a repeat of.

@BakeOffRewatch I think we ordered our Liberty Advent at the same time & I see DPD delivered yours.

I've had the 'it's ready to be despatched & the delivery company will contact you' email from Liberty but I haven't received notification from any of the likes of Yodel, Evri, DPD etc so far.

Though now I've said that, I'll probably trip over the calendar on my doorstep tomorrow & then receive an email on Monday saying it's being delivered on such & such day 😂
