Underarm laser hair removal
Medical grade skincare products
Botox (for now but I know there a shelf life )
Buying less clothes but spending more per item

Getting my teeth bleached as a teen.

HornyHornersPinkyWinky · 13/07/2024 14:06

Tretinoin - although it's a long term investment really as results aren't instant.

Revlon One Step hot air brush thingy - means I can get a salon blowdry at home and have my hair all swishy and lovely.

Reformer Pilates - has been so good for my mental health as well as helping feel stronger and more flexible. I wouldn't say it has made me lose weight or anything, but maybe a few inches here or there. Mostly I just love how great I feel after a class.

Wisenotboring · 13/07/2024 15:13

Ooh, following. I would say tretinoin is definitely a good product that seems to offer a good cost benefit ratio. I have seen really.good results with botox but it costs significantly more...

Wisenotboring · 13/07/2024 15:14

I would also say that sleep, rest and time out from the day to day stresses really have a positive impact on my skin and general glow. It is much easier said than done to achieve this but they are worth trying to carve out in life.

Could you tell me.more about the steam pod?

NorthFaceofthelaundrypile · 13/07/2024 15:37

@Wisenotboring - I have wavy/frizzy hair. We’ve a lot of time consuming effort and a ton of product I can get it curly-ish. Even with my Revlon one step I wasn’t able to get the smooth blow dry affect people rave about.
My GHD’s would need several run overs and then any moisture in the air and it would be back to frizz.
With the steampod I only need to go over each section once, and it lasts until the next wash day for me.

LunaNorth · 13/07/2024 15:43

Fillers for my downturned mouth/marionette lines. No contest.

coxesorangepippin · 13/07/2024 15:43

Losing weight

thehousewiththesagegreensofa · 13/07/2024 15:43

Keratin treatment for my hair has transformed my life. I wish I had started it 20 years ago. I still have some frizz/flyaways but love the fact that I don't really have to think about my hair any more

LunaNorth · 13/07/2024 15:44

Oh, and quitting alcohol.

AutismHelp1980 · 13/07/2024 15:44

Just following - considering all of these 😂

Floofydawg · 13/07/2024 15:46

GHD duet styler
Microbladed eyebrows
Lash extensions

Elsewhere123 · 13/07/2024 15:50

Stopping dying my hair. Discovered it was silver not wire brush grey. Also washing hair only once a week and using Orofluido oil to condition.

circular2478 · 13/07/2024 15:52

Bbl and moxi on my face and once a year Botox

WashableVelvet · 13/07/2024 15:53

@JustAnotherDayWorkingAtHome what do you mean by shelf life for Botox?

JustAnotherDayWorkingAtHome · 13/07/2024 16:33

@WashableVelvet I think there will come a time when Botox won't really cut it any more...it will start to look ridiculous as the rest of my face ages too much, for now it definitely looks natural enough (I am 49) but I am not sure in 10 years time that I would be a good look.
