Heya, I am looking for non-wired bras that are comfortable.

I want good support but still give a good shape and dare I say it might make me feel nice 😅

I have slipped into wearing crop tops and sports bras and they are giving me quite the one boob look at the moment.

I could have posted this! I am wearing Primark bralettes at the moment which are so comfortable but I doubt they do much for me! I feel like I can’t breathe properly now in underwired ones though. I tried Molke and didn’t get on with those. I need to go and try some on I think, but that’s always a bit of an ordeal as well!

I have some lovely none wired bras from Bravissimo that still give my 32GG boobs a good lift and are super comfortable!

WeeOrcadian · 08/05/2024 17:04

Marks do a lovely bralette, I live in them

boonana · 08/05/2024 17:06

I wear these every day, they are so soft and comfortable. They don't give the mono boob look as they have shaped padding which you can remove for washing. I don't think I could bear to put a bra on now!

A wire free moulded cup is your friend here. Something like this

Another recommendation for the M&S flexifit crop top, only issue I have with them as they need replacing regularly as they lose their elasticity

Weedropofred · 08/05/2024 20:05

I discovered Anita bras a few years ago, expensive but really supportive and comfortable.

Sainsbury's own brand Tu do a cotton non-wired bra. Super comfortable and cheap too! Comes in a two-pack of grey and white.

Bravado had some that were nice but had some foam in that wasn't so good but have recently tried a shapermint bra having seen them advertised relentlessly on Facebook... And I'm impressed - comfy, variety of colours, 3 hooks at the back, wide straps, comes with an expander bit which gives it another inch or two of stretch around. have a look at it a few times and they seem to offer bigger and bigger discounts over time.

After my first purchase, they also offered an extra purchase at a good price of a couple of basic camisoles but you only had 5 minutes to make up your mind - would have been good to have known about it beforehand as I probably wouldn't have ordered one with the bras.

Having ordered them, I now get quite a few different bras being advertised to me. - quite like the look of one called something like glimara but haven't bought any yet - waiting for another payday!

A lot of the bras upthread look comfortable but I’m not sure they give much lift / good shape.

I have these non-wired ones which do give lift but are not as comfortable as the bralettes / crop tops. They come in and out of stock.

I get mine from Uniqlo. They do a version of the sloggi style bra too which is well made but cheaper. I’m small of nork, though.

Miss Mary of Sweden do the best non-wired bras I’ve ever owned.

Yes I was about to come on and say that - particularly if you are a bigger cup size I like the wider, padded straps. Some of them aren't particularly sexy but they're good. I actually prefer their Simplex activity bra, which I presume is a sports bra - it comes in wired and non-wired. I have several different types though. (I also like the fact that they employ mostly women.)

minipie · 14/05/2024 18:03

Ooh thanks for the Uniqlo mention above, their lace one looks just what i’ve been after.

canyouletthedogoutplease · 14/05/2024 18:11

These work for me and they're for peanuts at £12, feel nice and silky, wash well and don't give me monoboob like a crop top.
