Nice cakes, @RockaLock !
Some lovely outfits from Cannes, so far.

Princess Anne on a trip to a Norway where she met up with her godson Crown Orince Haakon. I like her outfit.
And photos what looks like a garden
party at Buck House last week, which I don’t remember seeing? She looks a bit mother of the bride, I think.

Meanwhile Prince Pavlos of Greece celebrated his birthday with the family and CPV took her cute dog on an engagement.

Yes, I think Anne's garden party outfit is a bit fussy, although I do like the other one with the printed navy dress and the jacket with piping.
CPV and the cute 🐕! Sweet.

That’s a miss for me today for Anne, I’ve seen her wear much nicer outfits. It’s a bit parchment coloured and fusty looking for me.

NottsNora · 23/05/2024 20:31

I’m wondering whether Princess Anne is rewearing some of HMTLQ’s clothes.

I like that outfit too. She has a great figure and always wears sensible shoes!
I’m currently reading a novel called Princess by Wendy Holden, based on the life of Diana. It starts with her at boarding school, but is mainly about her on-off courtship with Charles, complete with descriptions of the 80s clothes. It’s easy reading, fiction but based on fact. Nearly finished it and have enjoyed it.

Anne visiting the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. I like the outfit on her, it looks quite fresh and summery, with a soft neckline and a neat jacket. That's probably a significant brooch!

I really like that too. The bracelet length sleeve suits her as does the colour. The weather looks much better in Norway than it is here 😆

I enjoyed her book The Duchess, which was about Wallis Simpson.

Serenster · 23/05/2024 23:02

Gosh. The Duchess of York needs to get the details of the stylist she is using for her trip to Cannes and pay them whatever they ask - they have done a wonderful job two days in a row.

Yorks out and about. Bea reading to littlies at a London Primary school and Fergs looking fab in a dynasty-esque floaty dress.

Oh snap @Serenster !

PoppySeedBagelRedux · 23/05/2024 23:21

That's a lovely dress that suits her.

QueryA · 23/05/2024 23:23

That is a fab dress on Fergie. She is a beautiful woman when styled properly. It’s such a shame the press always puts her down

KillingMeDeftIy · 24/05/2024 06:55

Charlene looking amazing in an LV jumpsuit. That neckline really suits her.

Maireas · 24/05/2024 07:00

She does look great - that's a really good style on her and I love the colour. Hair and makeup spot on, too.

Propertylover · 24/05/2024 08:41

@Serenster I agree, I can’t think of an outfit that has suited her so well.

Charlene looks fab.

KillingMeDeftIy · 24/05/2024 10:36

Here’s a pic of the Queen meeting Elizabeth II. (Ok she’s not royalty but we were talking about Joan recently and she’s just turned 91!)

SqueakyDinosaur · 24/05/2024 12:12

I love the way Charlene leans into her very broad shoulders (whether cause or effect of the swimming). Albert just gets seedier and seedier - he looks like the gropey old uncle that everyone avoids at a family wedding. Although that jacket fits better than most of his.

LadyEloise1 · 24/05/2024 13:18

I think Sarah F's dress is nice but I think the shoes are too fussy with an ornate dress. A simple silver shoe would be nicer.
I also don't like her hair style in the photo.
She's a trouper, I'm not a fan of hers but she does keep smiling through despite life's knocks - some self inflicted I know.

justasking111 · 24/05/2024 13:47

Beatrice uses a stylist who I think is now dressing Sarah, clothes, hair and makeup

Papergirl1968 · 24/05/2024 15:27

That’s probably the best I’ve seen Fergie look. Great dress.
