Will it be the Pearl Poiré tiara for Norway? I don't know; it seems a bit too much, being considered one of the grandest items in the Danish vault...Mary has been regal but restrained, so far.

I'd like her to wear the floral aigrette sooner rather than later, as I've said before - I think it would look gorgeous in her dark hair - but I wonder if Daisy will keep using that one. It would be a good one though, in terms of personal provenance, as Daisy wore it when Fred and Mary got married. So maybe she has happily passed it on now that Mary is Queen.

Mary said in an interview that their children take the piss out of her for her Danish, which I thought was rather endearing.

I wonder if her Dcs do a good Australian accent? My two little English Dcs do a cracking accent when they are taking the piss out of me. Their version of me sounds more Kath and Kim than I am comfortable with, mind you.

Yes IIRC that was in one of her (seemingly endless 😉) 50th Birthday interviews; quite funny.

Mary does very well but still has an accent and it's understandable that she struggles with some of the very challenging sounds.

Alexandra (Joachim's first wife) speaks almost perfect Danish, with only the merest hint of an accent. She had the advantage of growing up speaking German.

I think Anne is in Canada, on manoeuvres with the Navy. Probably in a waterproof jacket and cap.

Ahh the article I read listed her as among the royals at the party - but if she wasn't there that would explain why I can't find a photo! (I assumed it was her behind Charles in the bright blue).

The pink suits Sophie but there’s something not quite right about how the waistband sits. I think a better bra would make a world of difference!

Which is quite recent for her. I'm trying to work out what the oldest outfit she has that still gets worn.

Letizia has announced that she has a broken toe - she will be wearing trainers for a while. Apparently she is wearing Vivo Barefoot

Poor Leti! She's been a bit of a martyr to her feet of late.

I very much associate that bright blue with the late 80's - possibly because my Mum had a colleague at the time who often wore it. So much so that we still call it 'Susan' blue.

I used to wear that colour in the 80s, I loved it - cobalt blue.
The outfit she wore to Charles and Diana's wedding in 1981 made an appearance not long ago.
