Just checked the Royal diary as friend reported seeing Royal car and outriders heading North from Edinburgh. It appears Edward and Sophie have a wee Highlands and Islands tour next week so brace for lots of tartan and County looks. Hope they've got a nice off-duty weekend planned first, weather is lovely.

Ooh, my neck of the woods. I wonder if they will visit Lady Louise at Uni in which case they will drive past the end of my road! Exams finish today at St Andrews. However somehow I suspect they'll not be rocking up and shoving her stuff into the back of a peugeot estate like my parents used to do when collecting me from Uni.

Bum, I was hoping for Sophie at the Buckingham palace garden party next week. I would love to see her in the flesh.

Guillaume and Stephanie took him with them on a visit to the elderly. The first picture of the lady looking at wee François is just lovely.

Beautiful baby spreading joy all around the care home. Stephanie is brimming with happiness and is looking well dressed and coiffed (she was gorgeous and stylish for all her wedding events but has worn some horrors since then).

Guillaume looks relaxed and happy too. I will just about forgive him those burgundy trousers as he was clearly dressing to match Francois' dungarees.

@QueryA you must be very near to where I was brought up. I'm in our newest city now. It crossed my mind they might be on way to see Louise but I wasn't sure on exam dates, thought she might have already finished.

Yes, the less said about Guillaume's trousers, the better! Stephanie does look nice. Their little boys obviously bring so much joy.

The thread mascots are so cute and it’s nice how they’re taken everywhere. They have a new cousin too, as Guillaume’s sister Alexandra had a little girl earlier this week.

Sophie and Edward were in Edinburgh for the Ceremony of the Keys. I like the colour of her outfit but it’s not a very flattering style.
Meanwhile the Norwegian royals were celebrating their national day in traditional dress, and Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore military uniform on the balcony.

Oh dear, Sophie's outfit looks like a strange mixture of quilting and fish scales. It's not a very flattering look. I like the traditional Norwegian outfits.

Sophie's dress is truly awful. Strange shape, horrid material & parent, plus the colour is very autumn/winter

I don't think the colour suits Sophie. She's better in pastel shades.

I think Sophie's dress looks quite interesting from the side but the wrong material and colour. I'd like to see her in ice-cream colours (but not choc chip cookie dough!) and think she would benefit from better underpinnings - bigger boobs need to be hoisted. I love her natural smile and twinkling eyes and she always looks so involved!
