I emailed to complain that I had bought the kit based on the information in the email and I felt misled that there's such a huge difference in the sizes of some of the products. They sent me a voucher for the value of the kit and told me to keep it with their apologies...

Not THAT is good customer services... enjoy your free kit

RockaLock · 30/03/2024 18:38

I was scared to click on the link in case I was gutted that I'd cancelled my subscription.

I just caved, and I have to say I'm still happy that I cancelled. For me, there's nothing new or exciting in that box.

I mean, it's still great for only a fiver, but I'm happy to have my £20 a month free to spend elsewhere.

Great result!

They offered me 10% which I've accepted as I was happy with the value overall.

That’s not a bad box although useful rather than exciting. The hand wash is in my downstairs loo at the moment and it’s very nice. Have to confess that my heart sank at another sheet mask - I find them really claustrophobic and give most to my son’s flatmate.

Another76543 · 30/03/2024 21:58

I’m on the fence about the latest box. I’d be happy if it was free, as before, but I’m not sure I’d choose to pay £15 for it, which is effectively what we are now doing. Also, the “value“ doesn’t seem to be as high as previous boxes, and certainly not £75 which each box is supposed to average. I think I’ll cancel going forwards.

Heads up: points voucher at the bottom of todays email.

The one attached to my email, for me, is last quarter’s voucher. The whole thing seems a shamble at the moment. The points for this quarter’s voucher were removed from my account weeks ago, and I was told I’d receive the voucher at some point. I’m still waiting!

just came to say the same. I very nearly missed it. tagging it to the end if what is basically an advertising email is a bit silly... unless they WANT us to miss them?

MotherofTerriers · 31/03/2024 14:07

I missed the points voucher and have deleted the email as it looked like yet another marketing one

narniabusiness · 31/03/2024 14:10

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve just retrieved it from my deleted folder.

MotherofTerriers · 31/03/2024 14:36

Unfortunately I emptied my deleted folder

BlueLimeRun · 31/03/2024 14:38

The vouchers are posted out too.

NCForQuestions · 31/03/2024 14:46

BlueLimeRun · 31/03/2024 14:38

The vouchers are posted out too.

Only if you ask for it - I've never had any written correspondence from Liberty. Probably opted out when I signed up.

BlueLimeRun · 31/03/2024 14:48

Hmmm I haven’t asked for paper vouchers either - well I don’t remember.
Email or paper - it’s nice to receive them.

EcstaticMarmalade · 31/03/2024 15:58

If that’s the next box I’m a bit underwhelmed tbh. It reminds me of a M&S advent calendar about six or seven years ago.

periodiclabel · 31/03/2024 16:08

Yup, glad I am out of the box scheme. Given Liberty stock issues I’m worried i’ll never spend the cash i banked with them

Beepboops · 31/03/2024 16:57

I'm quite happy with the box to be honest. I like the elasticizer and CEO cream, the perfume sounds like my sort of perfume, and mask sounds good. I don't need another cleanser tbh but always good to have travel size ones.

EcstaticMarmalade · 31/03/2024 17:15

I just cancelled. I cannae be done with all this enshittification malarkey.

SwordBilledHummingbird · 31/03/2024 18:26

I'm quite enjoying trying not to work out what's in the next box while still reading the thread 😆

countdowntonap · 31/03/2024 20:24

Have the new boxes been sent? Not had mine, nor a postage notification

Babysharkdoodoodood · 31/03/2024 20:26

I can't remember, but do they do anything for your birthday? Points or voucher??

WhoaJayShettybambalam · 31/03/2024 20:58

@Babysharkdoodoodood £5 voucher but be warned that it’s not valid for long.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 31/03/2024 21:40

I'm cancelling too and have finally ordered the scarf I was thinking about (bd present to self as discussed earlier on the thread) to clear out all my saved credit.

It is shipping via Amazon, so will probably appear in not-very-protective packaging, and delivery is estimated as a full week from the day I ordered. Both of those aspects seem a little bit rubbish for a £425 scarf, and for whatever reason, they have already slightly taken the shine off the experience. It will all be fine if it's as lovely in real life as it looks on screen. But if not, it's going back.

Wonder what happens if we do that? Has anyone here ever returned an item purchased with BD credit -- do we get it back as vouchers?

RockaLock · 31/03/2024 21:46

Thank you to whoever said about the latest loyalty voucher being hidden at the end of today's email.

Just found mine when I checked my deleted emails - had not spotted it at all Easter Hmm

BookShark · 31/03/2024 22:17

I'm going to wait for the box and then cancel. I'll plan a trip to Liberty to use up the credit, probably on fabric, and then go back to Space NK for beauty stuff, as they tend to have much more in stock. Disappointing though, the box is fine, but I was hoping for something special to try and retain people - perfume aside, there's nothing I haven't already had in a GWP at some point.
