I think when they are taken over by huge companies they lose so many of their great perfumes in the change, it’s a shame it happens..too much about the money. Also huge regulations with natural ingredients and the move to more synthetics is just another nail.

AAARGH... just realise I go away tomorrow so won't be around for delivery. Amazon will just bung it on my doorstep.

On the bright side, I guess it will be exciting to see if it's still there when I get back next week... like the lottery I suppose...

Stupid social media/scrolling detox

I got DH to pick up the Scent With Love Kit on his way home, there’s quite a few in store he said. Can’t wait to open it but will do it tomorrow, so late now!

Ordered this and promised to share with my son. Are there any of the scents that would particularly appeal to a teenage boy? He takes after me and loves trying new scents. Thank you. 🙏

Just both try them all and see which ones you like. That’s what my husband and I do. Better to do it without any preconceptions as the ones that smell best on you may surprise you!

I love this fragrances set! I’m spritzing away like I’m in duty free. Going to smell lush for a kids birthday party this afternoon 😂

I'd say LBTY Adelphi Sun, Vyrao Free 00 and Byredo Mojave Ghost are the lighter/ more summery ones based on my initial sprays!

My set arrived this morning - very pleased with it! I think Byredo Mojave Ghost is my favourite along with Bravi Thameen, LBTY Adelphi Sun and Sana Jardin Tiger By Her Side.

The only one I’m not at all keen on is Bastide Ambre Maquis

@Orangeslemon that's interesting as I sprayed both Adelphi sun and Vyrao last night to test and I didn't get the summery vibes at all from the Vyrao? Absolutely no citrus on me, mostly musky which then turned creamy.. it's pleasant but not a fave. And maybe too subtle. Preferred Adelphi sun actually and it lasted ages, can still smell it on my wrist now after more than 12 hours. I know some people on this thread didn't feel lbty had any longevity but I find they all are super lasting on my skin.

@paristotokyo I’m loving Adelphi Sun it seems to be really long lasting on me and definitely my favourite LBTY I’ve tried. Wild Rosinda and Maze didn’t last on me at all so I wasn’t expecting much from Adelphi Sun but I’m very pleasantly surprised.

I definitely get summer and citrus from Vyrao Free 00 but it seems very weak on me in comparison to some of the others

Mine arrived today. Really pleased with it.

I'm really pleased with my set. I've sprayed them all on different bits of myself and my daughter and we both smell lovely but I've no idea which smell is which perfume 😆😆. But I think I like all of them so far.

Love the kit, except for Morning Chess, which is just as well really, as it arrived with a completely fused lid and no nozzle!
Absolutely impossible to open, even with pliers, and I've bruised my hand in the process.
But the little that did escape as I was battling with it was really not for me.

I'm very happy with mine, it arrived yesterday. My favourite is Bibbi's Boy of June.

I really do love these types of kits and I've got a good stash of mini perfumes now. Suits me as I prefer variety to a signature scent and they're such good value.

I spritzed Morning Chess on DH this morning and it really lingered in the room, smelled very different on him. I tried San Jardin Tiger By Her Side today and I love it, still lingering on my wrist after shower. I will try them day by day I think. It’s very fun! I’m not a fragrance purchaser really so this is a purchase from everyone loving it last year and I’m very happy. So thank you everyone!

I tried LBTY Adelphi and Zephirine in store once. Zephirine had disappeared by the time I got home, and Adelphi smelled amazing though I hadn’t thought much of it in store. Zephirine was the one I was most interested in trying because I love fig perfumes. I really think oil based fragrances need to be given a day to know what they’re really like.

Under the Instagram post of the Scent With Love kit, there’s lots of people gutted they missed out, I think it sold out within 5 hours? The Liberty beauty team wrote don’t worry our next kit is released in a few weeks.

Will try Sana Jardin tomorrow as it sounds like something I'll like. Loved the packaging also. And intrigued to try the amber one as I usually love amber. Oh and had a quick sniff of the escentric molecule with black tea and it literally smells like PG tips?!? Not even a fancy loose leaf type of tea lol.

Oh and did anyone's Granado perfume come without a lid? Also the top was really scratched which is a shame as it was likely one I was going to gift on.

I've only tried the Morning Chess and the Tiger by her side so far but I really like both of them. I nearly bought a full size of the Tiger by her side to use up some of my credit but I think I’m going to wait until I’ve tried all of them before I rush into buying a full size

Oh no! Did it not come with a small metal “lid” like the Poets of Berlin that came in the advent calendar?

@Jellycats4life no lid, and the small bit on the top is comletely fused to the large silver lid!
As in...completely stuck, with no pumping action up and down.
I think there is a hole underneath the fused bit because when I eventually got the main lid off - it needed a pliers and a screwdriver - and the same for the smaller silver bit, it still wouldn't pump more than 1mm, but because 1mm isn't enough to free the hole it just dripped down the bottle :(
I've been in touch with customer services, sent photos, and they seem to think I'm just not opening it properly (!) but it's fused together!
And ten it was 8pm and customer services was closed for the day.

Mine arrived yesterday too and the Bravi Thameen is missing :( I emailed customer services right away and they replied to say that they're going to 'look into it'. I'm not sure what they will do and obviously I can't prove the absence of an item. I've previously found Liberty's customer service to be pretty good though so I'm fairly hopeful,

@BCSurvivor the pattern on top is the lid hence you can't press it up and down. How weird the lid was fused together. Email CS maybe they'd send you another?

@BCSurvivor sorry I see you thought the bit underneath is the lid but it isn't. Try pulling just that small one on the top up? If you haven't already. A few us were confused with how to open them with a previous perfume of theirs as they make these weird tiny lids that sit on just the top part.
