I've just had the worst haircut

The images I showed him and what he did.

He's cut it all round like a fucking page boy cut.

I told him I didn't like it and showed him the photos and that it's long at the front, it's passed the jaw!

I'm so upset. My hair was passed my shoulders and I've felt really horrible lately and wanted to feel better.

I feel so fucking ugly :(

He's talking out of his arse. You can have it layered/choppy and long at the front. I'm a trained stylist/ colourist and he hasn't done a good job. But it'll grow. Check out reviews of good salons or look/ask on local Facebook pages for good stylists.

Am I looking at the same pictures as everyone else?!

OP, I agree, it doesn't look anything like what you requested and seems a bit of a butcher job. Luckily it's just hair and will grow back (hopefully quickly). In the meantime, try pinning it up and gripping it to achieve a different style.

a lot of people who advised on here were wrong to say it was ok as a hairdresser I could see it was not cut properly I don’t think he cud of been qualified ! I’ve never seen anything like it !!

It looked like my year 2 school photo after my brother decided he wanted to "play barbers" Looks fab now though.

I've not been to the hairdresser in 10+ years after the stylist decided what my very curly hair needed was short layers. Lots of them. It was too late by the time I realised. Naturally I thanked her, said I loved it and cried all the way home. Thankfully it was winter and my hat lived on my head for the best part of six months while growing out the abomination, only ever whipped off when I wanted to cheer anyone up.

Don't miss the haircut, but do miss being able to make people laugh just by taking my hat off
