What to wear to Taylor Swift?

Going to Taylor Swift in June with my daughters. What shall I wear? I’m in my early 50s, size 12. The only thing I’m certain of is that I really want to wear cowboy boots!! Outfit ideas please - the only thing I really can’t wear I think is frills!

WTF?????

Yearendjoy · 03/03/2024 19:02

I'm going in June. Plan on wearing silver sparkly outfit. Not sure what exactly yet though.

AlwaysGinPlease · 03/03/2024 19:02

Why the nasty replies?! Pathetic.

Wear something comfortable OP and have fantastic time!

Imnotarestaurant · 03/03/2024 19:03

Whatever you want, no one will be looking at you.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but absolutely no one will care what you are wearing.

OrangeLemonLime24 · 03/03/2024 19:03

I’d wear a Taylor Swift tour t-shirt, jeans and your cowboy boots! Will look fab. Enjoy!

Dartmoorcheffy · 03/03/2024 19:03

Cowboy boots will have your feet in agony after standing in them for a while. I'd be wearing comfy trainers, yoga pants, t shirt and a hoody I can tie round my waist if I'm hot.

NeverTalksToStrangers2 · 03/03/2024 19:05

What era are you thinking?

I'm going lover but wearing trainers. I think a lot of people regret the cowboy boots as the show is 3.5 hrs long.

Ignore the rude posters.

Megs83 · 03/03/2024 19:10

I went to the concert here in Aus last week and there was a real mix in what people wore. Majority represented an Era though. Everyone stood up for the ENTIRE concert so suggest comfortable shoes!

LivelyLemonDuck · 03/03/2024 19:13

Why are people being horrid? She asked in style and beauty and dressing for a concert is a big thing. Even if you're 50+. I don't care for Taylor Swift but jeez, who shat in your cereal this morning 🙄

Maybe she wants to look nice for herself?? Or get it right to blend in??? Or to look nice for the pics? Or practicalities or or or
There was no 'nicest way' about your comment.

Humphriescushion · 03/03/2024 19:37

Good question,( despite some snarky replies - this is style and beauty after all) I am going as well and similar ( in fifties size 12). Was thinking cowboy as well but couldn’t do the cowboy boots. But will follow with interest.

C1N1C · 03/03/2024 19:38

Plastic bodysuit.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 03/03/2024 19:38

If you do cowboy boots and its hot maybe some sort of sleeveless or short sleeved black cotton or jersey dress, knee length or a bit above.

Plastic bodysuit.

She’d sweat some weight off if that’s what she wants!

Midnlghtrain · 03/03/2024 19:40

Ooo definitely something sparkly!! I'd love to get some cowboy boots, I might have to keep an eye out!

I've seen lots of people wearing cowboy boots, denim shorts and a plain vest top, with a sparkly cardigan / overtop on which looks really good!

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 03/03/2024 19:40

I can’t believe some posters here in SAB are being dicks here! It’s not AIBU!

Oooh yes would do this.

siriusblackcat · 03/03/2024 19:55

I'm wearing sparkly black shorts, the "a lot going on" t shirt and sparkly converse.
Will probably buy a hoodie to wear when it cools down later on.

fruitpastille · 03/03/2024 19:58

Have you picked an Era/album? I might go for Red as it's easy. Jeans, t shirt with 'a lot going on at the moment' and cheap heart shaped sunglasses.

Google has lots of ideas for the different eras.

snapple21 · 03/03/2024 19:58

Clearly some people are commenting who have no clue that it's been a 'thing' to dress up for the TS Eras tour shows as one of the eras.

OP there are lots of inspo videos on tiktok from the recent Australian shows!

fruitpastille · 03/03/2024 20:00

@NeverTalksToStrangers2 what's your Lover outfit?

Pepsipepsi · 03/03/2024 20:00

I'm going Edinburgh night 3. I've already got a sequin playsuit and rainbow rhinestone heels (which convert to flats!!) to wear. My era theme is "Lover". Can't wait 😁 it's irrelevant but I'm 33 and I figure if Taylor can strut around in sequins in a giant stadium then so can I!

I would think about if you want to have a era/album theme. That will give you a colour to wear. Then decide if you want to be comfy or bejewelled. So first would be a Taylor lyric themed tshirt. And the second would be something sparkly.

I would recommend any one to bring fold up flat shoes - but check you can fit them in a small sized bag as each stadium has their own rules of what you can bring in.
