Communal changing rooms in places like Miss Selfridge. So glad that these, to my knowledge, don’t exist any longer.

Those combats with all the ribbons hanging from them
Huge furry boots

Visible thongs.

Heels so high you couldn't walk. (At least for sensible people).

I hardly ever see high heels during the day anymore, when I do, they often look strange by comparison, particularly when you see women doing lots of little tottering steps but not getting anywhere very quickly. I know some people can walk well in heels but many of us can’t. I hope they never come back and flats/trainers remain the norm.

Bubble skirts. They suited no one. 😅

Hipster jeans which exposed your undies every time you bent down.
Those choker type necklaces with a pendant on.
High heeled open toed sandals on nights out
Belly button piercings
Hair mascara

Skirts over trousers. I was about 11 when they happened - as integrated units! - and they were fucking tragic.

1980s huge shoulder pads - ghastly trend that made us all look like pro wrestlers.

Jeans so low cut that you had to shave to wear them.

Definitely low slung jeans and visible thongs.

I forgot about communal changing rooms.The little French connection which used to be opposite Covent garden tube had them.Awful.Pretty much everything I used to wear is back in at the moment so it's almost impossible to think of anything.Um...lots of little butterfly clips in your hair and space buns.Leggings pre lycra with baggy knees.That really, really dark red lipstick that was in for a bit in the 90s.Wonderbras.

Dream matte mousse.

However I long for the return of pashminas, ballet pumps and gypsy style tops as they really suit me.

Suspender belts and stockings instead of tights.

Shell suits. Fortunately never had one

@BCBird my shellsuit is now in our local museum as an example of historical costume! Seriously. They asked me to donate it. Apparently full "vintage" suits in good condition are quite unusual now.

@Naptrappedmummy I was part of a group that tested dream matte mousse before it was launched. We were sent some and had to give feedback after using it.

Oh really! What did you think of it can you remember? I found it to be so dry and crumbly! Yet continued to use it because I was after that super matte look that was fashionable back then. A shiny T zone, or any sign of moisture in the skin, was a big no-no! I also wore it as a lipstick 😖

Bermuda shorts were a low point.
