I've been asked this and I'm not happy about giving my answer ... Would you wear these to your own wedding?

I think they are hideous

Isabellivi · 28/01/2024 18:38

No I would not, I would wear something very comfortable and more high quality for all the standing around. They look uncomfortable. But they probably would go largely unnoticed

My tactful answer was that I wouldn't as it might snow.

Presumably they’re being considered for a winter wedding and you didn’t just panic? 😁

I think they’re awful, personally, although I dislike the actual shoe more than the embellishment.

TempleOfBloom · 28/01/2024 18:45

A miss for this Miss

For so many reasons.

Lavenderandbrown · 28/01/2024 18:46

One of thousands of bridal shoe images. It’s a very important part of a brides ensemble today

Not my thing but I wore cowboy boots to my wedding which wouldn’t be to everyones taste but suited me & our wedding. Irregular choice do some good unconventional bridal shoes- when I was looking i’m sure they did ones that said Mr & Mrs on the toes that bride might like- although they are pricy.
Are they the actual wedding shoes or flats to wear during the evening for dancing/comfort?

itsmyp4rty · 28/01/2024 18:49

Hideous. But might be popular for an insta wedding.

MaidOfSteel · 28/01/2024 18:51

Ugh! No. They are very tacky.

theduchessofspork · 28/01/2024 19:08

She needs a light up dress like Alice in the Vicar of Dibley, then they’d be perfect.

katseyes7 · 28/01/2024 19:10

God, no. Hen party at a push. Certainly not for the wedding.

Ilovemyshed · 28/01/2024 19:13

Vile and tacky.

Georgyporky · 28/01/2024 19:18

£460 !!

I thought they might be Primark.

Capmagturk · 28/01/2024 19:18

They are possibly one of the worst style of shoes I've ever seen in my life.

Saltysausage · 28/01/2024 19:21

The groom would have Help Me written on his shoe soles too - all so tacky!

Brumbies · 28/01/2024 19:22

Awful shoes, ok for the hen night but no way for the wedding!

MassiveOvaryaction · 28/01/2024 19:22

I would be uncomfortable. Both the style and the motif tbh Grin

They are horrendous, but very ££££ and often sold out, so somebody must like them!

Omg they're an actual thing?! I just assumed a pal of @PaperwhiteTheFriendlyGhost had gone ott with the glue gun! People pay actual real money for these?Shock

Tbh I don't like those either. But it's not my wedding or my feet.

If I had only the choice of these and the other ones I'd take the other ones and see if I could unpick the words or failing that stick a little rosette or something over the words.

Agentdanascullyx · 28/01/2024 19:34

At first I thought it said witch for life 😂

RosesAndHellebores · 28/01/2024 19:37

£460 on something that looks like it came from the market for five bob.

No. Not at any price. Money doesn't buy style in this case.

Justfinking · 28/01/2024 19:45

Only as the after shoes if my feet were sore and I needed flats

Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 28/01/2024 19:48

Hell no!

I thought so too 😂

SapphireSeptember · 28/01/2024 19:55

I wore black leather ballet pumps with little flowers on them to my wedding, no one saw them under my dress anyway! If I ever get married again I'm wearing boots. Whether they be Victorian style, pointy toed ankle boots or DMs is anyone's guess!

But I hate those!
