I've been asked this and I'm not happy about giving my answer ... Would you wear these to your own wedding?

Tacky doesn't even begin to describe them 🤦🏻‍♀️

PoodlesRUs · 28/01/2024 14:17

I would cut people out of my life for even suggesting them to me.

First thought. Probably wouldn't though.

LardoBurrows · 28/01/2024 14:22

Lord No, tacky, uncomfortable and cold.

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 28/01/2024 14:27

ZenNudist · 28/01/2024 13:51

No but I can see someone cool making them a statement. I'm very blah so wore gold mules. People wear all sorts as wedding shoes. I particularly love the trend for clumpy DMs.

I could imagine perhaps a Madonna or maybe Kate Winslet situation of doing it ironically - (Madonna made a big thing about being "Mrs Ritchie" and Kate Winslet's first marriage reception was so down to earth and had bangers and mash at the local pub) and thinking they're so cool.

SoOutingWhoCares · 28/01/2024 14:28

Absolutely hideous, worst wedding shoes
I've ever seen and I don't think there's anyone in the world beautiful/cool enough to pull those monstrosities off.

If asked by a friend who wanted to wear them, I'd say,

"I'm sorry but they aren't my cup of tea at all. It's your day though, so it doesn't matter what me or anyone else thinks as long as you're happy with them x"

FairyBreadQueen · 28/01/2024 14:30

Those are not to my taste.

30not13 · 28/01/2024 14:31

No I wouldn't but then I would also cringe at the gold mules a pp wore.

As long as its not you being asked to wear them does it matter? Brides prerogative, they can do what they want.

Nobody will see under the dress anyhow.

CuriousityKilledThePussy · 28/01/2024 13:49

Far too hun for me

Will the wedding have a "Live, Laugh, Love" theme? We live in hope 😅

GreatGateauxsby · 28/01/2024 14:32

Sophia Webster shoes are £££ so prob nicely made?
But 100% not for me Hun.

They are just cringeeeeeee.

Theraffarian · 28/01/2024 14:32

Oh dear god they are hideous and tacky , sure way to ruin the aesthetics of a wedding dress , unless she has rather unconventional taste .

fourelementary · 28/01/2024 14:33

@PaperwhiteTheFriendlyGhost Too Hun means that they’re for the type of people who use Babes and Hun in every sentence, who like Live Love Laugh signs around the house and crystal lampshades etc. Naff and tacky and Instamum. You know?

PrudeyTwoShoes · 28/01/2024 14:34

No.

Snowdogsmitten · 28/01/2024 14:34

Not even if it meant someone else picked up the massive bill for the whole event.

Notthesameasitwas · 28/01/2024 14:36

Hideous.

ShortHairedCat · 28/01/2024 14:37

The tackiest ever shoes from planet tack

Nicely made monstrosities.

magicstar1 · 28/01/2024 14:38

I came on to say you can wear whatever you like at your wedding, and my own were unconventional, but they are awful. Worst wedding shoes I’ve ever seen!

This is the bride exactly. That's what I thought was meant.

Some beautiful shoes on that website but those are not them!

Yes, you're right. It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks apart from the person who's wearing them.

I said they were awful. I take that back. I don't like them and would never wear something like that. That doesn't make them awful.

jay55 · 28/01/2024 14:41

Only if I was planning to throw up on them.

SoOutingWhoCares · 28/01/2024 14:41

They really ARE awful though. REALLY. AWWWWWWWWFUL.

QueenBitch666 · 28/01/2024 14:42

Chav central

Treacletoots · 28/01/2024 14:42

Oh dear

OldTinHat · 28/01/2024 14:44

No, no, NO!!!!!!

Just for starters 'wifey' is right up there with 'hubby' for vomit inducing! And the actual shoes, without the tacky badges, are not elegant or bridal or lovely.

Whoever came up with this idea should be banned from crayons and paper!
