Char does look good there! Although my first thought on seeing the lady on the gold brocaded dress on the right was that Sarah Ferguson would love that outfit. 🤣

Princess Mabel of the Netherlands has gone to see her wedding dress, on display in Munich. She looks delighted in the photos she posted, which is nice to see given she tragically lost her husband in an avalanche. Anyway, if you ignore the massive bows on the train, I always thought this was a really lovely wedding dress.

Princess Mabel obviously really loves bows. Not only is her wedding dress covered in them, but the black dress she's wearing there is too.

Mabel's dress was lovely, including the extraordinary train where the bows got increasingly large! The sweet thing was that she wore a dress with bows at her husband's funeral, too. A nod to the wedding dress.

Although the dress does have a bit of a quilted paper towel vibe, but if you love bows, go for it.

Finally a sighting of EBG. Her suit is smart if unremarkable, but her hair is looking good. I'm in two kinds about her blue manicure. It's certainly eye catching.

Yes, she's been a bit low key since the accession. Nice suit. Hair and makeup lovely.

I kind of like the blue manicure. Along with the snakeskin shoes, it stops the suit from looking too severe.

They should have stayed in 1997 IMO.! I like the suit and glossy hair. Would have much preferred kitten heels.

Me too! I'm glad Letizia is wearing comfort shoes for her problem feet, doesn't give a hoot about wearing high heels on most of her royal acts, and joins the rest of the Spanish female population that only wear high heels on VERY few occasions.

A lot more raw material. Felipe has always been a dish but his informal clothing was awful. He has the height, the weight ...but subdued classic has always been his style.

I'm sure Letizia and his friends are dragging him into the XXI century while he's screaming against it, but slowly he's joining the rest of the population when he's not on royal acts. He's even marking "paquete" with his jeans, which I never thought I would see. 😁
