Morning! I'm starting a new thread before I go to work as it may get filled before this evening.

I'm glad that Camilla is cracking on with the engagements 👍. I had to check who those Dames were at the Shakespeare event!

Love the animal print on Camilla.

Also wish I could wear white without it immediately becoming covered in dirt. MM looks stunning.

Maireas · 15/02/2024 07:33

She does, @MissTrip82 - I love winter white. Although, like you, I wouldn't keep it white for long! The Mum part of me wants to tell her to do her coat up, though.

I like Letizia’s black suit and the embossing stops it from being too funereal. I’m not the biggest fan of kitten heels but I quite
likw the shoes she’s wearing.

Meghan looks cosy! Has Invictus had a winter games before?

She's a trouper. Her husband unwell must be a strain but she puts on a smile and gets on with ite

I just saw the report on the news - Camilla's dress actually looked nicer in person, so to speak. Lovely earrings.

I love the green shade of Camillas' dress, although not sure about the velvet fabric, but the colour is gorgeous and really suits her.

Papergirl1968 · 15/02/2024 20:12

I like the green crushed velvet.
Here’s Camilla today. No full length pic but I like the black detailing on the dress.

Yes, a slightly darker blue as well. Nice.

CliffsofMohair · 15/02/2024 20:33

Love the blue on Camilla. She suits a strong palette.

Eaumyword · 15/02/2024 21:15

Cams suits that blue shade 👍

SqueakyDinosaur · 15/02/2024 22:13

Do you think Camilla always does this many engagements and we just haven't noticed because the coverage is normally spread between her, Charles, William and Catherine, or has she picked up a whole load more that Charles couldn't do?

Maireas · 15/02/2024 22:16

Probably the latter, @SqueakyDinosaur - her own plus KC's, possibly some of the Wales' as well. She's certainly busy.

OP posts:
KillingMeDeftIy · 16/02/2024 10:37

I think a mix of both? She was probably doing more engagements than Kate anyway, but the media didn’t tend to go all out to cover her. Whereas Kate only had to show up to the opening of an envelope to get on the front pages!

Have we seen Sophie much lately? Seems like we saw more of her before the various illnesses struck the Firm.

More cold weather dressing from Meghan. The jacket I think is navy - in some lights it looks black, but it looks blue here, and she has on a navy hat, scarf and gloves etc, so I’m going with navy.

(I amused by the challenges of trying to dress stylishly when it’s actually properly cold. They are in the Canadian Rockies, so if it’s cold enough for a hat and gloves and scarf then it’s probably cold enough to actually put your scarf around your neck and zip up your puffer jacket…but that does rather produce a Michelin Man look that doesn’t look great in photographs, so we’ll go with unzipped jacket and draped scarf. Oh well, you have to suffer for your art!)

Maireas · 16/02/2024 10:58

Oh, she triggered my inner Mum by not zipping up that white coat! You do have to suffer to look stylish!
I like her hair, though - it looks gorgeous.

No I don't think so. Conspicuous by her absence, all things considered. But maybe she's doing stuff but not getting much coverage.

MotherofPearl · 16/02/2024 12:34

Love Meghan's navy ensemble - but then I love navy.

I agree, Navy is my go to staple. It does suit Meghan.

I am someone who runs hot so I get why Meghan may have her jacket open. My understanding is when not being active (skiing) base layers can be sufficient if you are in the sun. I recall a photo of Diana approaching photographers wearing ski trousers and just a white base layer top.

DuchessOfPort · 16/02/2024 14:53

Perhaps Sophie’s off for half term? I liked Meghan’s light coloured ensemble.

Also glad Camilla’s getting lots of coverage. And I hope they can slump at Wood Farm for the weekend. He probably will feel he’ll have to go to church no matter how long his treatment goes on for otherwise people will worry, which is a bit of a bind. We’ll see lots of his camel coat as any glimpse of him will be jumped on.

I'm skiing this week. Super hot today; at lunchtime my ski jacket came off and I was just in base layer only.

eggandonion · 16/02/2024 15:46

Meghan likes an open coat . I unzipped mine earlier but the effect was less glamorous.
Are the waleses in Norfolk for midterm if that's this week?

Maireas · 16/02/2024 17:43

I actually had my coat unzipped today, but it was a balmy 16°c, which for Yorkshire in February is most unusual!
