Those Uniqlo bags

I have 3, I love them, I don't know how I lived without them.

BUT...how on earth does anyone find anything in them? Nothing stays in the pockets, it all ends up in a swirled up soup of stuff and take ages to actually find something when I need it 😂

It could just be me of course, I'm prepared to accept that!
Maybe I'm putting too much in there?
looking at 4 lip glosses, mouth spray, gloves (one pair today but sometimes 2),tissues, 2 purses, tiny hand cream, house keys, tiny spray bottle, 3 half used packs of gum, 3 hair bands, plus probably some other stuff I can't see at first glance

I'm happy for you, you'll save some money then.

Oh and an inhaler and sunglasses too! In fairness the sweater is a super light cashmere one (knicked from my mum!) but I can't believe how much they hold - I'm evangelical about it, and bore my family senseless with showing them just how much I can fit.
I use the wee pocket for crucial stuff like keys, phone and lipstick but yes - I do find myself unpacking the bag a bit too often. Mesh bags sounds like a great idea.

Primark sell them for half the price. I like them as they are very light (the Primark on is anyway) and I struggle to carry things

Primark's version also has an internal zipped pocket which helps with storing bits & bobs.

Do the bags fit a bottle of water in? Just a normal sized one?

The first day it's let me down! Can't believe it can't take this huge book 🤣

I got one of these organisers from Amazon. It makes it much easier to find things and if I change bag (which is rare now I discovered the Uniqlo bag!), it's so much easier to transfer to other bags.

Does this fit in the Uniqlo bag?

This thread is so enabling, I already had several of these bags and I've just gone and bought two more. 😄😄😄 I got hooked on them while recovering from a shoulder injury for their lightness and how easy it is to see/reach everything.

For keeping small things organised inside I use the pockets for things I might need to get my hands on in a hurry (inhaler/tissues), other small bits and bobs go in a small sectioned canvas purse-style thingy like the Kipling creativity purse or a Roka purse. Loads of imitations on Amazon.

I do think the design could be improved by making the pockets in a contrast colour so they'd be easier to see, but I'm guessing that would drive the price up.

Some of those TikToks puzzle me too, including the one that set the ball rolling where the girl has a big set of headphones, epipen and a bottle of perfume in hers, among other things! 😲 I also read about someone fitting a bottle of wine in, albeit it was probably the only item in there.

That said, their capacity really impresses me, as someone who routinely carries Way Too Much around. 😄

Genuine question, what are you classifying as a proper crossbody bag? I always thought it was any bag that could be worn across the body?

That's why the teenage boys on bikes wear them (according to teenagers). Small bag, practical and convenient.

They're worn cross body style too.

Ok I have Put Things In Small Pouches and it is helping for now, until I get too lazy to put stuff back in the right place and it inevitably becomes a free for all again.

I'm so proud to announce that I have not purchased any further bags - for now. I am broke, so there's that 😂

I've got one of these in purple and I love how much you can fit in it, plus its really comfy to wear but I can't help thinking it makes my already rounded self look even rounder :(
