It definitely needs the belt. It’s ok. Don’t love it.

If you don't love it, return it. You'll always end up wearing something else instead and it will just sit there in your wardrobe, waiting for a moment that never comes.

What aren't you sure about? That's what matters most, if you aren't 100% about it. The thing you aren't sure about it what will stop you from choosing it to wear which means it's a false economy to keep it.

Where would you wear it?

1. Do you like it?
2. Does it fit comfortably?

Those would be my only considerations.

It’s hard to say without knowing your personal style, but it does look a bit sacky on you, too much material. You have a lovely figure, it’s not a great dress though.

It's ok, I actually think the colour is a bit bright on you and you have a great figure so can do better for sure

I feel awful saying this but a loved one wore this exact dress to an event very recently and she's stunning but it looked horrible. Just shapeless, harsh colour and frumpy. You could do a lot better than this dress, honestly.

Is it cheap or expensive, it looks nice but more like £50 nice than £300 nice

Like it with the belt, nice colour and you are slim enough for it to not look sack like.

Not sure where I would wear it though, it’s a winter colour but not warm enough to wear in winter and I don’t think it would look good with a jacket / cardigan worn over it

Is this something you've recently bought and are contemplating returning, or something you've owned a while and might pass on?

I really like the colour and think it's still very wearable belted/looks good, but isn't anything to write home about otherwise and could fit much better than it does.

For me if it had been purchased, it would go back in the returns window. If I already owned it I'd happily get some wear out of it rather than give it up.
