Had a quick look at the dress @Theteapotsbrokenspout posted. It also comes in a skirt. Lovely colours.
The green trousers have appeared @Firesideknitting . I’m going to order these but currently debating sizing. Going upstairs to measure 🙄

@faustina did you get your M humbug today?

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 10/01/2024 18:28

Looks like there’s lots of lovely new things @Countmeout

Amazing, Thankyou so very much, ordered …. They will be a wonderful go to for summer

faustina · 10/01/2024 18:34

@PretLea - no! It should have been but is stuck in Peterborough! I had to send my large one back as was getting worried about the returns deadline too.

Snowyowl78 · 10/01/2024 18:40

Anyone got this? I got it today and I think it’s a keeper. It’s very long, I haven’t tried styling it over trousers yet but hope it works. I also tried the skirt but that didn’t do anything for me sadly. Skirts don’t seem to look very good on me! I think it’s because my weight is on the stomach, so a skirt emphasises it whereas a dress skims it

I just hope the colours aren’t disappointing @Firesideknitting . Sometimes they’re not as they appear. I’ve ordered too.

There’s another colour in that nice long sleeve blouse which is lyocell . Has anyone who has bought this washed it yet? I’ve had garments with Lyocell in them twice. (NotToast) both times they went weird on washing. Both developed streaks . I love the blouses but cautious.

Oh wow the v neck jumpsuit in blue! It is mine!

Snowyowl78 · 10/01/2024 18:50

Oh god and the v neck dress in olive. I am going to have to rethink my sales purchases.

PretLea · 10/01/2024 18:54

Urgh, hopefully tomorrow then @faustina and hope you’re happier with the M. I received the S today and I’m really happy with the fit. As you said, it’s a really nice neutral. I was wondering, the collar of mine stands up a little, even when on - have you found the same with yours? Might it relax a bit upon wearing or get worse?

Yes the olive dress @Snowyowl78 !!!
looks very useful.

@PretLea i think the olive looks better than the blue in this style. I will try both!

Snowyowl78 · 10/01/2024 19:15

@Countmeout @PretLea ooops wrong person! Too much excitement

OftenOrange · 10/01/2024 19:22

Lydia Dress £28 on Reworn …

Countmeout · 10/01/2024 19:36

Agree the olive looks better @Snowyowl78 but I’ve read it now and it’s very long. I think it’s the same length as the Lydia give or take a centimetre. I had to have it shortened and it’s still long. Will love you hear how it is if you order and whether it could be worn as a hot weather dress. I am a sucker for green.

What do we think of this look ?

I’m looking forward to the Kindred video tomorrow and seeing some on the new stuff on. I do hope they’re not just going to wave it in front of us. My only slight reservation is that both ladies are tall and appear to be quite small on top. And I am neither.

@PretLea - such a lovely colour mix in that jumper! I don't think my collar did stick up, but then it was very oversized. I will report back tomorrow (hopefully)

I'm thinking of ordering a scarf but might wait til the ochre one is back to try that - this sale is SO SLOW isn't it? Much slower than usual I think

Off to see the new things now!

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 10/01/2024 19:51

Found the Cabin Check scarf as well. It’s described as cotton but then in the details 56% wool - I can’t wear wool, really disappointed as it’s just my colours.

ScottishMouse · 10/01/2024 20:05

Yes, love that olive crinkle dress @Snowyowl78. I have the black jersey version and it is great, even for a short arse like me. Also the skirt. And the striped crinkle skirt.

Snowyowl78 · 10/01/2024 20:16

@Countmeout @ScottishMouse strangely the blue one is 1.5cm longer than the black! I had to have that one taken up. The Olive one though seems to be the same length as the black.

I also like that buttoned artichoke one although it’s annoying all the pics show it over trousers! I would wear it on its own, so would have liked to have seen it like that. I’m glad they are doing some shorter dresses!

I share your excitement @Snowyowl78, though I don’t really like the v-neck style, I love the new olive crinkle cotton Freya!

Countmeout · 10/01/2024 20:51

Probably from hand reared miniature sheep in Uruguay fed with organic mushrooms picked by the light of a full moon, then sheared using hand wrought shears from Scotland, the wool washed in the clear streams of an Amazonian river and dried on an organic rock high in the Andies. Combed with bone combs from specially chosen Pygmy rhinoceros which are harvested without endangering the species. Sprung on Irish fairy wheels before being returned to Uruguay for the artisans to knit into this wonderful jumper.
Lot of air miles in it @Snowyowl78 to be finally thrown into a paper bag (tissue possibly optional) and delivered (if your lucky and they get the right address)
