I'm sure these aren't genuine.. no mention of them anywhere else and they're just not good enough.

eggandonion · 14/12/2023 14:50

I think sapphire blue velvet is more glamorous than black.

Twazique · 14/12/2023 16:10

If they are fake that would explain the lighting problems with Sophie's.

hopeishere · 14/12/2023 17:14

They look like poorly done paintings!

FawnDrench · 14/12/2023 18:03

Hmm.
The background is all wrong - doesn't enhance the subjects at all - I'm highly suspicious of the authenticity of these pics.

Charlene looks amazing in this dress. Love a bit of chartreuse velvet!

Zara at Cheltenham racecourse. I don't like the suit and I don't like polo necks and it's a strange choice to wear a girly burgundy headband with a manly suit.

Agree - don't like the headband. At all.
I don't mind the suit, but she never suits high necks, looks a bit trussed up. She does look warm though!

justasking111 · 16/12/2023 09:16

It's a warm outfit, the colour and pattern are lovely

Houseplanter · 16/12/2023 09:28

The outfit looks so different in the two photos.. completely different colours. The close up is lovely blue and Zara looks as fabulous as ever.

MmePoppySeedDefage · 16/12/2023 11:10

I saw another picture showing Zara's suit as lighter blue, with a burgundy overlay and the headband was looking good with it.

MotherofPearl · 16/12/2023 11:57

I quite like Sophie's N. Peal jumper but am not convinced by the outfit as a whole.

Zara seldom gets it right imo, and I'm afraid that suit and headband only affirm this for me. Very odd look.

MotherofPearl · 16/12/2023 12:00

From a couple of days ago now, but I adore Max's skirt, especially the full shape, and of course, the sapphires are beautiful.

Though the drape of the blouse is pretty unforgiving and suggests a bra intervention may be called for.

I’ve always enjoyed this pleasant thread which has managed mostly to comment just on the fashion. Clearly there’s an elephant in the room, though. Has no one anything to say about Meghan’s stunning brown monochrome suit? She looks absolutely stunning. She was moderating a Q&A for Netflix with David Oyelowo and Misan Harriman’s (n After’ is incredibly painful to watch).

Maireas · 16/12/2023 12:10

Tte elephant in the room?
We often discuss Meghan's clothes, so I'm guessing that none of us have seen the suit yet, I know I haven't.
Have you got a picture?

Not seen Meghan's suit. We often comment on her clothes on here. Many of us like her style. I know I do, on the whole.

MmePoppySeedDefage · 16/12/2023 12:53

What a gorgeous outfit on Maxima. I do love that necklace- she wears it sometimes with a really pretty blue evening dress.

Do please post a link to Meghan's brown suit, or better yet a photo.

AllTangledUpInTitlesAndTiaras · 16/12/2023 13:09

No elephant here and no need to invent one.

I've just read that the Braganza tiara weighs 3kg! No wonder it's difficult to wear!

Maireas · 16/12/2023 13:12

Absolutely, @AllTangledUpInTitlesAndTiaras .
3kgs! I'd just take the ibuprofen and power on through....

The only elephant is me.

Large. Grey. Wrinkly.

I’m actually not sure on the suit. Maybe it is the colour of it. Or that of the polo neck. It could be that maybe I’ve just got an unflattering picture of it. But for me, she suits other colours better.

The most stunning picture I’ve seen of her, she was wearing a deep olivey green high necked top. And she looked bloody magnificent. If I could find it, I think most would agree.

@ArcaneWireless Grin

I'm not keen on that brown suit, and as I said when Kate wore her all-white suit the other evening, I'm not keen on that monochrome look. Plus, like @Papergirl1968 I don't like polo necks. So for me this is not one of Meghan's best outfits.

GrouchyKiwi · 16/12/2023 13:51

I like the colour of the suit itself - it's a lovely warm tone that really suits her - but would prefer it with a gorgeous cream top (winter white, perhaps Wink )
