Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Happy opening everybody, enjoy!

Been and got it now! Not for me this one I don't think! Good to get it out of the way though!

I'm going to try the hair oil later. I have very fine straight hair so it will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

Refurbishmentino · 02/12/2023 08:11

I like todays. My DD swims a lot and her hair gets dry - so this will definitely get used (on her!)

ItsTapasTime · 02/12/2023 08:13

I’m quite pleased with todays offering. As the owner of limp, thin hair, I will enjoy testing it. It’s on the M&S website at £20. Good reviews.

TokyoSushi · 02/12/2023 08:18

Might give it a whirl then!

I already have wild curly hair so volume isn’t required.

One for the regifting pile

Ilikeyoursleeves · 02/12/2023 08:43

This morning is a hair oil thing that I'm not sure if I'll use much? But I want to try everything out instead of stashing stuff like I usually do! My kids might use it more than me but I shall give it a whirl today!

I’ve got lots of similar hair products in my stash that I never get around to using. Might take inspiration from @Ilikeyoursleeves and use this today rather than just add it to the collection.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 02/12/2023 08:55

@Yogaandchocolate yeah I tend to 'put things by' but then don't use them and have no idea what I'm putting them by for 🤣 My motto for 2024 is to live in the moment and enjoy things and new experiences instead of waiting for some time in the future. I wore my Day 1 lippy yest and today I shall try this hair oil!

grayhairdontcare · 02/12/2023 09:00

Like today's offering and will be trying it out later

LivingDeadGirlUK · 02/12/2023 09:05

I've used this product before its great in the summer when I don't blow dry. Full size too!

NashvilleQueen · 02/12/2023 09:12

I have very full curly hair so this is going to one of my children. Glad to have it out of the way on day 2 as I knew it was coming!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/12/2023 09:24

I’ve got a P&R serum from a previous box and it’s good, so I’m hoping my fine, menopausal hair will like this too.

NeedWineNow · 02/12/2023 09:26

I like P & R products so am looking forward to trying this. Good size too.

Sluj · 02/12/2023 10:05

Just tried this on my short, fine, wavy hair - I like it. Definitely not oily and has given a bit more definition
I only used a half pea amount as my hair is short at the moment

RainbowZebraWarrior · 02/12/2023 10:08

Ah, I was looking forward to this being an actual oil, not a no oil, oil. I cant stand the texture of serums, and it smells strongly of alcohol to me. I'm making a beauty hamper as a prize for our PTA raffle, so it's going in there. Didn't realise it was worth £20, mind.

Tangomango1 · 02/12/2023 10:10

I am pleased with today's hair oil. I like P&R products and will be using it later. I do have very thick hair and don't need any more volume but will give it a whirl Smile

MrsRuldolph · 02/12/2023 10:19

Really happy! First two have been perfect for me. I have a teenager and tweenager so any unwanted stuff will be happily put to good use.

I like the philosophy of using them straight away! I'm often guilty of stashing stuff for 'later' and then giving it away. I'm going to pamper and primp as the goodies are opened!

I shall take it as a sign if there are bath products that I NEED to indulge in a long soak in the tub...

Buster27 · 02/12/2023 10:21

I'm always a bit wary of hair products like this as they can make my fine hair look greasy. Will see how other people get on with it first Grin

Chunkymonkey123 · 02/12/2023 10:22

I used it this morning on my fine long highlighted hair and I like it. Not a miracle but definitely a bit more volume

Babyroobs · 02/12/2023 10:22

I've been bad and opened some of mine before i should have. the products all seem lovely !

Houseplanter · 02/12/2023 10:31

I've had this before in one of their summer boxes and liked it. Happy with this for day 2

Ilikeyoursleeves · 02/12/2023 10:39

Just tried the hair oil, my hair is just below my shoulders and I used 8 squirts. I think there's more volume and it smells nice! I'm going out tonight and will style it later so hopefully it will give my hair some volume although it's quite thick anyway

ExpensiveDecorations · 02/12/2023 10:45

Oh, disappointed with this one, they have it every single time and it doesn't suit my hair at all. I wish they wouldn't put the same things in year after year.

ExpensiveDecorations · 02/12/2023 10:46

I think it's the same one anyway. I've never had a P&R product that has done anything for my hair (long, wavy/curly).
