Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Happy opening everybody, enjoy!

Morning! It's after 7am so I can hopefully post this photo up. So today is a 'multipurpose dry oil' which I have no idea how to use! I thought it was perfume before I put my glasses on but didn't think it smelled strong enough for a perfume, then realised it was an oil. I've already dabbed it on my wrists (cos I thought it was a perfume 🤣)

Looking forward to trying it properly! Any tips?

I've just googled it and it sounds great! Can use it as a hair treatment, for your skin or your beard if you have one 🤣

ExpensiveDecorations · 03/12/2023 08:47

Another one that pops up every year. I still have a couple of these so might pass this one on. It's a nice body oil but I only use it on my legs as I find the fragrance too strong if I use it on my upper body.

User136921 · 03/12/2023 08:49

I have never used this but the reviews look good, if I'm not sure about skin stuff I generally put it on my fairly dry legs so it will be used.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/12/2023 09:07

I've had a few of these and never known how to use them. Wouldn't use an oil in my hair its way too thin.

greencheetah · 03/12/2023 09:08

Has anyone ever used this on their face?

grayhairdontcare · 03/12/2023 09:11

I use this on my arms and legs. It smells amazing. Pleased with this today

Has anyone ever used this on their face?

I put a little on my face. I use it on my hands and rub into cuticles and then when there is nearly nothing left I press my palms onto face so a tiny amount transfers. I do the same with hair but just run ends of hair through fingers and it makes it look smooth and shiny.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 03/12/2023 09:19

Haven't opened mine yet, but I'm hoping I like the scent. I've only ever tried the shimmering one, which is too heavy on the musk for me.

I'm happy to try on my face and report back @greencheetah My facial skin is currently a dried out husk owing to menopause and central heating. I used Elemis cleansing balm last night before bed, and it still feels like sandpaper this morning.

itsnothingoriginal · 03/12/2023 09:22

Nuxe oil is brilliant. I use a few drops mixed in with body lotion or face moisturiser.

My favourite is the Florale version as I find the original fragrance a bit potent but this is a handy travel size!

RainbowZebraWarrior · 03/12/2023 09:31

Right, I've just used this on my face, and my skin feels instantly softer. It's beautiful in the way that it doesn't leave a greasy residue. I'm not keen on the fragrance, however. Nuxe say that it's a blend of Orange Blossom, Vanilla and Magnolia. I think it's the Magnolia that I don't like. I'll be putting Beauty Fash Balm on soon, so that will hopefully calm the scent. Very happy to keep using if it helps my skin feel softer, though. Perfect for dried out winter skin. Darling little bottle, too.

IReallyMissPrince · 03/12/2023 09:34

I’ve had a full bottle of the Nuxe oil previously and I wouldn’t repurchase. Perfectly nice, but not necessary for me. I’ll give this to DD, I think.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/12/2023 09:37

I’ve had a couple of the Nuxe oils before and never really know what to do with them. I took one on holiday in the summer and used it to give my eyeshadow a bit of a shimmer and on my décolletage. Only really worked because I had a tan though, I think.

greencheetah · 03/12/2023 09:40

I’m about to go out for lunch so I think I will try it as an overnight oil. My skin is combination, despite my advanced years!!

hellswelshy · 03/12/2023 09:48

Joining in! Loved all 3 days gifts so far, have made a vow to use every one each day! Going to shave my legs later so will use the Nuxe oil afterwards 😊

BaconAndAvocado · 03/12/2023 09:55

Never had a Nuxe product before, so pleased with this.
No idea what to do with it 🤣

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/12/2023 10:00

Good idea to try the oil on legs - will do this later, if I ever manage to get out of bed! 😂

Lemonademoney · 03/12/2023 10:13

I got spots last time I used it on my face so a little disappointed to get it again. I will perhaps add a drop or two to my body
lotion and see how that goes.

Buster27 · 03/12/2023 10:28

I think I already have a couple of these unused in my stash. It's clearly not something I reach for so not a great one for me (unless I eventually try one and love it!).

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/12/2023 10:43

Still horrified by the size of the boxes for such tiny products.

I think I’m going to try to reuse some of them to hold table presents for Christmas dinner, instead of buying crackers. Can anybody think of tiny things I might put in them?

Ilikeyoursleeves · 03/12/2023 10:44

Just tried the Nuxe oil on my legs post shaving- they feel loveeeeely

Me too! I get that there are some 'taller' products in there, and that's why the boxes are all the same size, but even so.. I think the boxes are the perfect size for hand creams or mini torches. I've also ordered a pack of those mini cable protectors for chargers, so I might put one of those and some lindor in a box for everyone.

NoAprilFool · 03/12/2023 11:24

I used the no oil oil yesterday and really impressed! It definitely doesn’t weigh hair down/feel greasy.
I’ve had nuxe oil in the past but it was years ago so looking forward to trying it out again. So far, I’m delighted with this calendar 😊

weyaye · 03/12/2023 11:25

This smells amazing, I'm going to use it as a body oil. Scared to put it on my face

Houseplanter · 03/12/2023 12:36

Nuxe oil is one of the few products I buy again and again. I think I've even started a thread on it in the past.

I use it mainly as a body oil but also on my face before bed if it's feeling dry, and in my hair if my curls are feeling frizzy

The pink one is my favourite, followed by the green. This one is still fine and I'm very happy to have a travel size one
