M&S Beauty Advent Calendar 2023 Opening Thread

Roll up, roll up, there doesn't seem to be an M&S thread that we can find yet, so please join in to discuss here!

General rules: please don't disclose what the product is until after 7am on the day that it's due to be opened. No spoilers, if you want to open in a different order then go ahead, but please only discuss the product on or after its specific opening date here!

Mine was totally melted into the lid! Unusable without a brush. Disappointed!!

What is it? Mine says lip balm, primer, base on the bottom. Is it just for lips?

I don't usually wear lipstick but it is a lovely colour, so into my makeup bag it goes and will give it a go.

Excellent flattering lipstick. Just what I needed to wean me off mattes in my old age. This one is going straight in my work bag. What a great start to advent 🌲❤️

I am very pleased with the first day. From the size of the box I thought it was going to be yet another black eyeliner so I am chuffed. It's a lovely colour & I will use it.

It’s my first year with an m &s calendar having had the JL one for the last couple of years. If I am honest I was expecting to be a little bit disappointed (even though I watched the unboxing videos a couple of months ago before opting for it, I can’t remember any of the contents now!), however I am happy with day one! It’s something I will use 😀

Perfect colour for me. Will pop into my work bag.

Great start. I am hoping for fewer hair care products this year (setting myself up for disappointment) and some good moisturisers/serums.

Disappointing first day for me , I don't wear lipstick just Glossier balm.com , onwards and upwards!

I was the same, and I'm sure there will be one although in past years we have had some quite nice different colour ones so maybe we will get lucky again.

Not a bad start for me too!

I wore it for the school run with no other make up on, haha. A good colour for me too, but I would prefer it to be less shimmery, will wear it though.

Thanks for the thread OP. I've avoided the M & S calendar and summer box for the last couple of years as they seemed to have the same old products, however this one looks as though it will be a bit better. Certainly off to a good start as this is the brand/colour that I wear every day so am very pleased.

It's not the usual colour I would go for but looks nice on and its a nice handy size so a good day 1 :)
