@Alpacasoft i just read the email. I think maybe they are explaining how sometimes if you got to the item it’s full price but if you go via sale it’s discounted? I highly doubt they’re trying to tell us off 😂

Think they are having some website trouble at Toast Towers. Items going on and out of the sale and sometimes disappearing completely. It’s a message, I need to back off now!

Thanks @Stoic123 and @Noeggsontoast - the crackers and boxes have appeared, (I swear they weren’t there before as I was specifically looking for them). I have bought one of each.

I wouldn’t put anything past Toast - re: email and sale purchases! I am already suffering buyer’s remorse, so if they were stupid to cancel my orders, so be it!

@Countmeout - looking forward to hearing about how the pinecones taste! They look lovely.

Just a warning to check your refunds from Toast. I was recently refunded incorrectly - short changed by over 50gbp. It was a fluke that I spotted it.

Hmm, not a great deal I wanted. Quite a lot of things I've spent years not buying. But have ordered a couple of vest tops I know I want and some other things to try.

I’m very happy with my sake haul of:

3 x boxes of the beautiful paper chain kits (we have a Christmas birthday and a February birthday and the seven- year-old loves gluing and sticking!)

another box of the Furoshiki table gifts - we’ve recycled the last lot for the past two years and it’s great to have a rotation set

Diamond Block gown - to add to my burgeoning collection of Toast gowns but I love them all equally (a bit like my children! 🤣) and they all get worn as they’re so versatile

Greta Harlequin dress - I have previous models in this style so I know that it will fit into my life effortlessly and be worn and worn

Wooden pizza board - I’ve been covering this for ages and I most definitely won’t be using it for pizzas but it will make a very useful cheese board etc

Wish me luck, I’m going back in…

Sale haul not SAKE haul - I think spell correct must have been out on its Christmas party tonight.

I got into the sale after I got the pre-sale e-mail. Quite stupidly I kinda hope that not all 7 sweaters, 6 dresses, 7 shirts, 2 pair of trousers and 5 pair of socks and 1 tee will be perfect for me - buyers remorse, I believe!

I also ordered a few sheets of the wrapping paper. But I can see on my confirmation e-mail that the 2 sheets of the one kind showed as being reduced, while the 2 sheets of the other was not. Ah well, only 6 Euro lost on that. But I will probably call CS in the morning anyway.

Eventually got my email at 7am today.

Clearly I am on the ‘also ran’ list.

I am thinking now that I have ordered the wrong size in the Bryn leaves dress.

I really do wish they would sort these sizing issues out.

@Tremblingmadness It’s relatively (for Toast) fitted around the middle so I guess depends on your body shape. It’s a lovely dress.

I have the Bryn navigation green dress in medium, and the Luna dress which is v similar in 12. So I would say it’s definitely more fitted than those.

Promised myself this year that I wouldn’t order multiple sizes. Sending back is always a risk with the PO being so rubbish and taking back is a long trek into my nearest city.

So I am going to hope it arrives soon and try and work out whether I need a M or L when I see how it fits.

i ordered the green (can’t remember the name) Bryn in the summer in a M and it swamped me. Unfortunate there were no S left by the time it arrived, so I missed out. Hence I ordered the S this time. But from what you said in your post I suspect we are pretty similar size wise.

Nothing on my "must have" list but have gone for the river print dress, I've eyed it for a while but fear I'm too short, but will see! And a check top that was in the last sale but size I ordered was too small so 🤞 for second time lucky.

Thanks for the heads up Saurus have gone for 3 dresses to try will just pick one of these, some socks and candles that were already in my basket 🧺 I wonder when they will get delivered as must be shutting up shop for Christmas break and reopening on Wednesday?

@Saurus72 - about returning things: once you generate the return label, you can go to the Royal mail website and book for it to be collected. They do it the next day for free and because it's all digitised you can track it online yourself from the label you downloaded - no need for keeping all those little bits of paper they give you at the post office. It's much more reliable and you have proof of collection via email. I just leave things outside my back door and they get picked up and I can get on with my life
