This is a thread to discuss the buying of beauty calendars and not the opening of them. There may be general discussion about contents of a calendar but please do not share information about what is behind a specific door you've opened. Thank you

Separate threads for the most popular ones and then a waifs and strays for the rest usually.

Waifs and strays is always the best. Such a variety of stuff, including food, tea, jam as well as beauty ones.

When on the calendar opening threads the best approach is just not to go on the thread until you’ve opened that day’s drawer. Agree that the hinters are deeply aggravating.

I may have no calendar this year. DH offered to buy me one and I sent him a link to a nice chocolate one in my determination not to add to my stash of stuff to use, but then weakened and sent the link to Anthropologie. I know he bought the chocolate one as I opened it by mistake (almost all parcels arriving right now are ordered by me!) so he either got both or no beauty for me in 2023. We’ll see.

Caved and managed to get the LF calendar for £74 with a random influencer code I found!

That's an awesome deal. It looks so good and I can't wait to see my daughter's face when she opens it. She was telling me today how excited she is!

I have no idea why I get really excited when someone gets a good deal or buys a fabulous AC on here, somehow it feels nice 😊

Although no AC has truly spoken to me within a realistic budget, I must confess that I've been thinking about the OK mega bundle more times than I should admit. I don't need a single thing, I haven't even looked at the items properly to say there were real gems that I really want/need in there.
But I'd quite like to buy it and that's the way I feel. I won't buy it but it's on my mind.
This is like a church confessional.

Again, forgot to buy chocolate ACs for family and some for the dogs when I went food shopping today. I'll have to order something online and should really treat DH to a nice AC from the links suggested here in the past (cake, drinks etc).

I can't believe we are nearly at the end. These threads have been a blissful oasis from life.

Actually it sounds like a much better idea to wait until after Christmas to try to get one on eBay! I've got enough to keep me going from Friday. 😆

I have the bargain White Stuff socks and Ciate calendars. Ordered a John Lewis one but sent it back and went for Glossybox instead to save a bit of money. Looking forward to opening them

I have far too many calendars as usual. Think that I'll be joining the beauty buying ban thread next.

I have:
Liberty (excited for the fragrances)
Flannels fragrance cracker (as above)
Boots award winners box (mostly dug into for gifts and a few bits sold)
2021 F&M box (so lovely) refilled with various stash bits - so I will be on waifs and strays with that one!

Resisted the JL one and just bagged a £15 CT palette on eBay instead.

I have:
OK Beauty Advent
The flannel’s Fragrance cracker for Xmas day
and the remnants of a LIB advent which has been rifled for Xmas presents/stocking fillers

Quite impressed with my restraint although I have been going a bit mad with beauty boxes lately
Is there anyone else now desperately trying to finish last years advent goodies. Tonight I had the evolve Miracle face mask from the John Lewis advent on while watching TV and I plan on dragging out the Bobbi brown blush tomorrow which has disappeared into the depths of my make up drawer and giving it a whirl

Fenwicks calendar is now sold out too.

I have already opened the OK calendar, have JL for December and Fenwicks for between Christmas and New Year. I also ordered the Boots box and the Bridal Beauty mystery box.

I have still resisted a beauty calendar. Happy with my jam and Christmas jigsaw ones.

Still love reading the thread and seeing the bargains people get.

And obviously I don’t want to be an enabler but I think I saw a couple of people say they use Sarah Chapman - Brand Alley have some Sarah Chapman products today.

also still in the market but prepared not to get one this year. Disappointing BF for beauty advents, that's for sure.

I am tempted by the almost half price L’Occitaine for £33.04, (with a view to putting it away for next Christmas).

However, I am attempting to do a ‘no spend’ on beauty, (or indeed, on anything else unnecessary, but it’s currently only 36 hours and counting🙀), so am trying to restrain myself.

I am shaming myself into remembering how much I already have by putting my a/c on display in my bedroom ready for tree putting up on Friday!

What’s everyone got by way of a/c and/or beauty boxes?

I have the bargain WS socks, M&S and last year’s entry level Rituals, (which was a massive outlet bargain).

I keep telling myself it would be ‘better’ just to get one - money allowing- that I ‘really’ want, (Liberty and Vogue were my favourites this year). However, I just can’t bring myself to spend that much on one item, (even if I could afford it). Maybe one day!
