What's classy for nails

I'm travelling to London in a few weeks to see my son. While I'm there I'm meeting his girlfriend's parents for the first time. We're going out to dinner. They are a few years younger and a lot wealthier than me. I have no hangups about that. I'm a confident career professional myself..but they are very wealthy financial services people. I will very much go as myself but do want to get hair and nails done. My style is understated so definitely no bright strong colours, no nail extensions so will be quite short..any recommendations for what's low key and classy in my 50s

Personally I’d go for a dark red / navy / moss green.

Short, natural nails. Filed into a round shape with one coat of Dior Nail Glow.

I would have gone with a plum, berry colour.

Thanks so much for the advice and reassurance everyone. I'm trying to tell myself what I would tell my kids which is to hold your head up high, be relaxed and know that you are good enough for anyone/anywhere just as you are because I know that is true. However as a 50 something, grey haired, overweight, short non Londoner I'm a bit daunted!
Also this lovely young woman is very important to my son so if this is a lobg term thing I need to see myself on an equal footing with her parents...it's not fair on anyone otherwise. I'm sure they are lovely.

Not boutiquey but lovely. It’s one of my favourite bars in London, buzzy with a great vibe. The setting is gorgeous, just off regent street and the food is good too. Def a place for a fun night.

OP, what stands out to me is how very nice you are and what a lovely attitude you have to the fact that this girl is very important to your son.

What about really dark green, or the dark red/black shades suit all skin tones I think.

I've had afternoon teas and dinners in the Ham Yard, it's a very eclectic mix, lovely and relaxed, friendly, quite a Cotswoldy vibe I think? Have a fab time, your nails look perfect, it's a busy place so you'll feel at ease and have lots to talk about with all the comings and goings!
