EFG serum users, do you wet face before applying like you would with hyaluronic acid or apply to dry skin? X

Tiktok reminds me of QVC shopping channel on steroids. I worked out what I'd want and what I could sell to make up for it but stubbornly refuse to pay £98 or more if some have got it for £79!
I'm telling myself my Harrods fragrance AC and Flannels fragrance cracker will suffice. (Plus a couple of chocolate ones).

Watching those unboxing the beauty boxes on you tube is lethal as I have just bought another ! The glossy box Christmas edit . It’s £35 if you are not a subscriber,I mainly bought it. For the moon candle to go with the moon diary I have bought for my friend.

I generally apply right after cleansing so face has been patted towel dry but it isn’t dry dry. I wouldn’t put it on properly damp skin though.

Regarding EGF it needs moisture to work best so yes apply to skin when damp.

I applied it last night to fry face and had to go wash my hands after as they felt sticky so wondered if I needed wet face to make it glide or now thank you

Sounds like you’re using too much if it’s all over your hands. Use really sparingly. I use the dropper to apply 3-4 drops then press in and massage all over, including around the eyes.

I find after the first couple of days of using EFG that it tends to absorb better after the first night or two, it can feel quite sticky at first.

I need some advice from you wise women.

Should I buy Vogue, Liberty, Harvey Nichols or not bother.

Any others in stock that I should consider?

@Belindabelle it depends what products you like, but for me it would be Vogue if it was in budget. You could also look at F&M and Net a Porter (there's 30% off NAP)

@Belindabelle I’m biased but would definitely pick Vogue from those options. I got the Vogue Calendar & really love it. The only thing I don’t like is the earrings but love pretty much everything else, including the box 🙂

I am drawn to the Vogue for the variety of contents and the packaging. I can imagine keeping and re using the box. I have a couple of old Liberty boxes too.

Vogue looks amazing.

My Stylevana calendar hasn't arrived. I ordered that and a box of small bits which was delivered on Monday but not the calendar. There's only one tracking number on the order which shows delivered 🙄 trying to get through to them past the stupid customer support bot is like shouting into the void

If no joy and if it doesn’t turn up in a couple of days, you could ask cc/pp for chargeback - you just need to show proof you have tried to contact.

At the other end of the cost spectrum, Smiggle have some bargains, including a kids bath stuff and make up one with unicorns on that I've bought for an under-10 reduced to £10.

Quidco is advertising 30% cashback on all Liberty purchases - I can’t see anything that says the advent is excluded (although it’s always a risk with the cashback sites, I think it says Liberty cashback might take 8 months!). Definitely worth a try if you’re considering buying though!

I think if you want to keep the box and like the non-beauty items, then Vogue. Personally though I would go for HN as I love perfume and put all my boxes in recycling as I just can't bear them being in the house after Christmas. Not sure why that is.

Agreed. OK box doesn't look like an expensive box and it becomes a problem to take out the things from there
