My Harvey's Nichols order with the free fragrance set has arrived. I only had a peek as it's my Christmas present, but the fragrance gift is in a big box and the scents I saw are boxed. I think if the promotional.photo had been better (they looked very tiny in it) it would have sold out more quickly. I knew the sizes but it does look much better than I'd expected.

Net a porter has 30% off taking it down to £192.50. If anyone fancies this

My problems is that I'm a snob and also very cheap at the same time.

In the last couple of years since getting into luxury advents and beauty boxes I'm more into the high-end brands now. I had M&S for years and loved it but now my taste exceeds my budget. It's half true when they say you pay luxury prices for the packaging but in my opinion beautiful, high quality packaging adds to the overall beauty experience.

I've got another holiday to pay for; this year was the first time I went abroad since COVID and I can really see how not travelling funded my beauty buying the last few years.

I'm still holding out for a luxury bargain though!

I’m not surprised about NAP tbh. I wonder if it will drop further? I’d be tempted if it was a bargain price as I use Sarah Chapman and there are other things I’d definitely use, including the earrings and gloves.

Please will you let me know where your posting your opening so I can see what you get each day I’d love this one but unfortunately I can’t justify this year x

I keep trying the Penhaligons card game in the hope of getting a sample of Terrible Teddy. DH has a sample bottle already and I love it on him, but it’s over £200 for a modest bottle. I’m not sure he loves it as much as I do. May try to find a decent dupe.

Nope. It was a paper bag, just like the ones primark and the like give out. Although it did have an image of a cabbage leaf masquerading as a map of Ireland on it.

It shows as £122 for me and I can't get any vouchers to pop up
