Can anyone remember what the BF or just after reductions were last year on the Clarins advent calendars?

I have vague memories of some really good offers.

I am debating whether to buy Clarins- but even with 20% off it’s not particularly good value imo so I am wondering if it would be worth waiting.

On a related note: I also remember some reductions/offers on the EL blockbuster set,(and being annoyed as I had already got it). Does anyone remember what that deal was? I am holding off as it’s significantly smaller than in previous years, with stuff I wouldn’t use, but if it’s reduced, then I would crack!

Crikey, I didn't know about the TOYL boxes scandal.

I saw the Harvey Nicks one in the shop yesterday and the box didn’t look as beautiful as several others are this year and have been before. It’s still on my list if the price comes down.

I also decided against the Harvey Nicks calendar, after looking at it again in store this week. But I have taken advantage of the 15% off beauty plus fragrance GWP offer to replenish one of my favourite perfumes. After ordering yesterday it has already arrived. For those interested in fragrance it’s an excellent GWP; samples are all nicely boxed and there is actually only one I’ve tried before. So lots new to explore.

Yes I can’t find information about Harvey nicks GWP either. Presume sold out .

@GentlemanJack and that's understandable as no reason why you would without knowing her background.

Its also much more than you can read online tbh but the upshot is -- just tread careful if you order from her and maybe use a credit card for ordering from her.

It appeared in my basket yesterday when I logged in and spent over £150 on two items. But it may well have sold out now.

@itsalongwaybackfromsorry Rewards is just the loyalty scheme - you have to sign up for it but there is no cost involved.

I have just joined the rewards scheme and added another item with the calendar but the gift doesn’t get added to my basket. Just as well really or I might have been tempted to buy yet another calendar that I don’t need!

Just got a good deal on clarins 24 day calendar which I'd been looking at as a "sensible" option, was 108

If you spend 145 you get 3 different gift sets free with good sizes , so I spent a bit more to get my mum a perfume set ( 20% off everything ) to get all 3 sets and I can split them between us/ refill the advent as a Jadvent !

Yes can't believe I got 3 GWP's! I think each has 4 items so was thinking that's pretty much the equivalent of getting the 12 day advent for free as thru are the same kind of sizes.

I love clarins as the stuff is always everyday type useful yet slightly luxurious at the same time and I know I will use every drop of it all

Many years ago I rented a room in a flat in a town I had never lived in before. The only other woman in the flat share was an accountant from overseas. She was sooo glamorous and beautiful. I saw her Clarins items in the bathroom before I met her and had already decided I was going to like her.

What is in the GWP? It doesn’t really say?

Do you think the Elle calendar will be further discounted? I am sorely tempted for £99.

I spent over 145 so I got all 3 sets . Here's a pic of all of them

Quite glad actually that JL AC has sold out, as now I can resist!! actually I am ok with just my Liberty (I get the lack of love, but I am excited about the fragrance) and my home-filled F&M.

I have nabbed the CT palette for £15 on eBay and also bid on the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow, which were two of the things I really wanted.

Instead of the AC I now have my lovely and long overdue bed linen (the set it’s replacing is more than 20 yrs old 😮

I don’t think we will see any of the 30 or 50% type reductions this year as they all seem to be selling out quickly.
