Or will you start opening in November?

Either way, it's not long now......time to make your choice (s).

Yes the same one. I think they restock at random times

BBC mystery box is out of stock again and it didn't even come with the advent calendar this time I don't think (despite adding fifty quid to the price)

GentlemanJack · 07/11/2023 00:31

I think the BBC mystery box went up in value, though. I do think that they are an excellent buy and anything I don't want goes to make a gift for friends. I have found lots of
lovely new brands and have repurchased some of them.
Anyway I have the Debenhams advent ( I always like that one ) for December and for January I'll open the Jurlique.
I have liked lots this year but I have a lot of skincare in my stash and now I'm retired I don't wear makeup everyday. It depends if there are some amazing reductions I suppose. And the state of my bank account.

LaBrujaPiruja · 07/11/2023 08:45

Any news on when Vogue AC will be shipped?

Branster · 07/11/2023 10:21

Yes, regarding Bridal Beauty, the value went up to £1100 as opposed to £900 (I think it was £900 originally).
I suspect part of it is the Emma Hardy cleanser which is no longer listed as additional item so, perhaps, now included in the mystery box. Or it could be different items included in the actual mystery box making it of a higher value.
AC still listed as an additional item (and reed diffuser) but the picture is missing, although I am sure it would still be the 2022 Jurlique AC because they haven't changed the value still worth £220 in the description.
The way I understand it, mystery products on their own are worth £1100 (or over £1000) with the free AC and free reed diffuser thrown in.

A little off topic but Interested to know where you all store your AC goodies? (Especially those buying more than one AC)
Reuse the boxes eg. LF chest/ Sephora calendar box?
Or just cupboards/ boxes

AprilLady · 07/11/2023 16:09

@Emmmmz9 I have managed to accumulate a rather large hoard over the last few years. I do try to sell what I don’t want, and use plenty, but I still have rather a lot to store. I’ve tried quite a few things over the years - including using calendars, boxes, cosmetics bags etc. My eventual solution, now that my DC are older, has been to repurpose some of the IKEA Trofast storage I used to use for toys. So I have draws for moisturisers, for serums, for shower gels etc etc and whenever I finish one I can easily pick the next from the drawer. It also stops me buying stuff as it’s easier to look and remind myself of what I already have.

AprilLady · 07/11/2023 16:28

My flannels fragrance cracker arrived today. I bought it before the 20% discount, and even at full price I’m very happy with it. The perfumes have all come nicely wrapped in branded boxes.

Puravida23 · 07/11/2023 16:40

@AprilLady . Mine arrived too. But only the ladies I got the mens as well. It was mega wrapped and took me a good 10 minutes to dig it out the bubble wrap. I have only checked the contents to make sure they are ok as it’s a present but looks fab

Dee1224 · 07/11/2023 17:39

@Emmmmz9 - I have a few nice cases from various EL promotions and I put my a/c items and any other skincare/new makeup in there until I am ready to use them.

I found I was forgetting about stuff and buying new unnecessarily. Now I try to be good and look through what I have already before buying more.

Greywhippet · 07/11/2023 18:45

If an advent calendar is a year old and unopened would the things in it still be alright??

Oh yes, most products have an unopened shelf life of a couple of years.

I hope so anyway, as I bought my sister last year’s LF AC for this year’s Christmas present!

Although I did recently open a lip gloss I’d had for ages and I dunno what happened to it but it wasn’t usable, just a sticky gluey gunk.

Couperi · 07/11/2023 23:44

Mine came today too. I've left it in the bubble wrap and will open in December.

HollyGolightly4 · 08/11/2023 07:08

Has anybody who has bought Vogue had an email about delivery?

Housewife2010 · 08/11/2023 07:30

Hannah Martin has the Vogue AC on her Instagram.

AprilLady · 08/11/2023 07:31

@HollyGolightly4 I haven’t had any emails about it yet. Hopefully soon.

ACAC2023 · 08/11/2023 07:35

@HollyGolightly4 I had an email on Monday from Dpd saying we are expecting your CondeNast package soon and will let you know when we have it. I’ve heard nothing since ☹️. I’m getting impatient & hoping I’ll hear something today? I ordered as soon as they released them.
How about you?
I want my Calendar!

ACAC2023 · 08/11/2023 07:37

This is all I’ve heard

Beauty Advent Calendars 2023 Part D- waiting till December?
LaBrujaPiruja · 08/11/2023 08:03

My Vogue AC is out for delivery today based on the DPD tracker but I have not received any emails from Vogue

Possimpible · 08/11/2023 08:03

The Vogue site says 'Delivery From 6th November, please allow for 2-3 working days due to high demand' - it's 8am on the 8th November! Give them a chance

ACAC2023 · 08/11/2023 08:13

@Possimpible I ordered and paid for this Calendar in September & delivery was supposed to be from 6 November. I know it’s only 3 days but I’ve not had a single email/update from Vogue since paying. At the very least an update would be nice.

PokeyLaFarge · 08/11/2023 08:33

I've got 2: m&s and next
So I'm doing November and December:)
Sharing stuff with dc (do I get all the qrinkle cream etc!)
Liking the m&s one so far and the bag will get handy once empty.

CorneliaStreet · 08/11/2023 08:58

I’m pretty good at keeping advent calendars for December, but I think I might struggle if I had the Vogue one coming in today. I’m very jealous of you all! It looks beautiful.

Especially as the influencers have been sent them already!
