There’s also free P&P on the QVC Elemis deal - usually a bundle like that would cost an extra £5 or £6 for P&P.

That said, I already have enough Elemis cleansing balms and toners and plenty of bubble bath, I don’t rate eye creams and never use body lotions, so £66 for their pro-collagen marine cream doesn’t seem much of a bargain to me this time.

I held out last year hoping for F&M or HN to get reduced but they didn't (well not that I saw anyway).
I wonder if Liberty will be doing a fragrance one this year? Given they had to reduce theirs to shift them last year and they were nowhere near as good as the Harrods one.

@Twinsandsome Still ongoing. Got an email yesterday afternoon which said

‘In order to assist you further please attach a photograph (PDF/JPEG) of the damaged items and packaging to this email.’

So I’ve sent them pictures of a couple of the slightly torn boxes and a note that the damage is kind of irrelevant, given that items are missing. Not too impressed so far but to be absolutely fair, it was the weekend - hopefully things will move faster now.

I got it and it's really good - all full size. The teen POUNCED on the hair mask/conditioner stuff and loves it.

It’s probably unreasonable of me to wish they’d just replace the entire thing? I don’t want to know what’s in the boxes until I open them, that’s a large part of the joy of it for me 😕

Ha! That was the only encouragement I needed..I’ve just got it and found a discount code so only £110 for over £500 of stuff…all of which I’m interested in using. Hurrah!

Hi all, lots of M&S calendars in my local store yesterday.

I got this, initially got excited they were announcing a fragrance calendar. Think they must have a lot left over and are getting desperate to shift them.

Found all my scribbled notes the other day and over the weekend I made my final decisions: absolutely no expensive or premium AC this year unless they go down to £80, and even then, I can't say I am truly taken with any of them.
My unfulfilled desire shall remain Vogue, which is way out of my budget. If I had the money to spare I'd get 3: 1 for me to enjoy, 1 to keep as a collectable to pass-on toDD, 1 to sell on Ebay come spring time.
I still daydream about Guerlain for decadence factor but I would absolutely not get it.
LiB is not that exciting for me this year, but I'd probably get it if it was £80 or under, unless I got a premium AC for reduced price.

I then concluded I'd actually be more than happy with a budget friendly version.

Glssybox is often around £60 on Tiktok or LF. Not particularly exciting but I'd enjoy it.
Nuxe is still on the periphery and Naturisimo is a possibility. M&S doesn't appeal this year. There were a few others but I can't remember why I don't like them anymore.

I'd mostly like OK AC in this group and would like the Christmas Box too if the AC goes down to £70 again. So actually that's all I'd get: OK AC with the box but I'll wait for a reduction. Decision made!!!! Very liberating. DH can have the candle in his office because I'm not into candles. Everything else, I would use.

Somehow, something otherworldly made buy Bridal Beauty Mystery Box as it came back in stock today. Now priced at £200. I've always enjoyed their mystery bags and I know I won't be disappointed and it will be a real surprise. Complete change in thinking from a week ago for me.
I'll ask the children to put everything in a box for me so I can't see the products and will take something out every day, like a real AC. We might have to fashion a box together with a lucky dip hole at the top. I'll give the Jurlique AC to my mother as she'll enjoy it.

So that's that. All done and no more. I didn't mean to spend £200 on frivolity when I woke up this morning but there we are. I'm beyond excited. Ridiculous!!

I also managed to sort through all the recent collections boxes purchases and it's quite scary how much stuff there is. I shall gift some products and maybe sell what is leftover in the New Year.

I feel I ought to get DH a nice AC now. Kids are only getting chocolate ones as I used up all my thinking efforts on myself as regards advent calendars and don't feel like starting again.

Now I really, really must join the new no more beauty spend thread.

I've got the M&S one. I got it last year and really liked most of the things in it. My DD's scooped up anything i didn't want.

My M&S one arrived today, bought via the online deal. Haven’t opened it yet but plan is to keep what I want and then use the rest as presents.

I've just been clearing out the spare room and I've found last year's ASOS Bath and Body Edit and CB fragrance edit more or less untouched so I think, barring an unbelievable discount on Sephora or Harrods, I'll have to be done. The ASOS and CB edits are far better than anything we've seen this year IMO - a full size Jo Loves candle and various 10ml fragrances for £70.
