Flannels have ruined my day by cancelling both my mens fragrance crackers . I am quite mad about this as I ordered one on 27th October full price then bought another discounted last week. They had already taken payment for the first one and should not have been selling them last week if they had stock issues . It is the only present I had bought for my DS to date (DDs have loads). The other was going to go to DH but It was a bit of a wild card there so he won’t miss it so I don’t mind the second cancellation so much
I also ordered two Womens fragrance crackers I got one yesterday but am praying the other turns up as that one was for me!

I am beyond excited for all of you out there waiting for the Vogue AC deliveries. It's a beautiful AC and I'm sure it will be well enjoyed by each and one of you. I shall follow the opening thread (please do make one!) with great curiosity.

LiB have decided to launch yet another collection box and I am staying well away from their website tomorrow. Don't want to spend any more money on beauty stuff.

Quite a few mentions of purchasing beauty ACs for their teens.
As someone else mentioned in the previous thread, we do need to be careful and watch out for any reactions when we, ourselves, use new products. I think this is even more important for teens. I would suggest no teen should use any strong toner or anything with glycolic acid. Not worth developing a sensitivity at such a young age.

Someone asked about using products from a sealed AC from last year. I would. As long as the items themselves have not been opened they are fine for 2-3 years. I'd also check manufacturing and expiry dates and google the marking for skincare in particular. SkinCeuticals are a bugger for only showing a code which represents manufacturing date with a side mention that their actives are good for 3 years.
If in doubt about skincare, just use it as a hand cream or a body cream.

I have, amazingly, discovered a very, very old Nuxe face cream in my shameful stash. I must have been using it ages ago and stocked up at some stage? Sealed but expired in 2018!!!! Makes a lovely hand cream because I like the fragrance and texture/smell does not appear altered. Otherwise a bin job.

My Flannels Crackers arrived today. Really happy, I think they look great. I really wish that they hadn't stuck white price stickers on the boxes though as I can't get them off cleanly!

I didn't order the men's one, but I noticed on the website yesterday that the women's one was in stock, while the men's was still on pre-order. The men's cracker has now disappeared. I wonder whether they didn't get enough pre-orders to make it worthwhile @Puravida23

I assume that they rely on bulk orders to get the cheaper price. I can't imagine that the men's cracker would have been more popular than the women's.

My Flannels cracker arrived yesterday and I was irritated by the price sticker too. It did eventually come off without leaving any residue - I just rubbed my thumb over it repeatedly and it gradually came off. I'm being good and I've put it away without peeking at it until Christmas .

I can't remember exactly what the rules are, but I think that manufacturers are required to print an expiry date on the product if it won't last a minimum of 2 years unopened.

@MidnightMeltdown that could be the explanation which makes me feel a bit better rather than over selling still gutted as I think my DS wold have loved it
I agree the womens looks gorgeous I hope I get mine soon. I will smell gorgeous in 2024!

I'll give that a try. I bought a couple as gifts so its annoying. I don't know what they were thinking. They also sent them in a plastic bag instead of a box (despite the ridiculous delivery charge!) so they weren't well protected.

I do think that they're good for the money though, especially with the discount.

That's a real shame @Puravida23 . I suspect @MidnightMeltdown that you're right about not selling enough. Flannels had a disaster in 2021 with their calendar and had to cancel it. For a company that size (and that expensive!) their order fulfilment isn't brilliant.

My Vogue Calendar has arrived. I’ve been working so haven’t been able to open it yet. Its very heavy!

I’ve looked in every drawer, there is nothing edible. I think the extra surprise is an A4 sized print of a magazine cover from 1919 and on the back it says a separate email will be sent with a year’s digital subscription to the magazine.

The products do appear to be of very high quality and come with lovely little cards describing the item 🙂

I have my Vogue calendar too! It’s lovely. Very heavy like @ACAC2023 says with lovely artwork on each drawer.

@Pinenu I don’t really wear jewellery but the necklace was very delicate, so I decided to try it on and I really like it. The bracelet looks lovely too 🙂. It’s really big!
