I finally plumped for the Q Ki make up one from to Maxx for the teen. They like make up and it has brushes and a sharpener too. And is a bargain £12.99.

Not that I wouldn't spend more, except their birthday is at the end of the month and we've already spent a small fortune on presents! If we hadn't already got everything I'd have gone for a slightly more luxe one!

@Jellycats4life I recall one day my manager got gold coins, she definitely didn't think the contents were worth the cost despite it being a lovely calendar

I have to say the calendars that brought me most joy last year were the Bonne Maman and Friis Holm ones 😅Would be tempted by the Selfridges Panettone one except for the 12 days thing.

Gutted I dithered too long and have now decided I really wanted the Look Fantastic one and it's sold out 🤦🏻‍♀️😩 back to the drawing board to decide the best of the rest

@MidnightMeltdown why do calendars eg. Selfridges become more appealing once they have sold out?!!! Ha ha ha

@Puravida23 it looks to me like these tiktok vouchers for discounts are generated at random.
I've only used TikTok for LiB so am not an expert at all.
The lowest I've ever seen the AC this year was around £130odd which included the £25 discount from LiB and an 11% or 12% off TikTok voucher.
I think they keep changing the vouchers and I don't have the patience or time to keep an eye on it.

I find it generally interesting to see how quickly they sell out. Space NK and Selfridges were the best this year imo, so I guessed that they would sell out first. Look Fantastic has taken me by surprise though. Didn't expect that to be such a big hit. I thought that Boots might be more popular in that price bracket.

I also thought that Vogue might have sold out by now.

I don't think that Flannels or Net a Porter are going to easily shift their concoctions without a decent discount, but we'll see...

It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re making the Vogue ones to order, I paid in September so don’t understand why else they wouldn’t be dispatching until November? Though someone did suggest maybe there is a surprise edible. Even so, they could have dispatched in October. I haven’t seen the Vogue advertised much either. If it wasn’t for these threads, I wouldn’t have even known about it.

If it gets unboxed on YouTube then I guess that it might sell out quickly.

I'm holding out for the Elle calendar to get reduced- I'm sure I bought it last year for about £80. In my opinion it's no where near as good as it was last year but the more I look at the contents the more I think I will actually use a lot of the products (eve lom cleanser, tatcha essence, tweezers...) so is probably worth it if the price is lowered... fingers crossed!

I thought the lipsticks were full size but you could be right, either way I’d probably sell my husband to the first bidder that bought that AC along 😆 I use Dior cosmetics and they feel beautiful on the skin it’s just a shame that AC costs more than the mortgage repayment on my first house 😬
