In annoying Toast news, I sent back two orders 10 days ago. Both arrived to them last Weds. the first one was refunded that day but nothing on the other one. I emailed on Monday and they said it had arrived to their warehouse and logged as returned so it would be refunded to my card shortly and I would receive an email. Still nothing. 🤷‍♀️
I need it refunded if there is a sale coming next week!

So I’ve figured it out, it’s an email I just used a while ago to get news letters … so not my account email

It’s definitely worked, just got £70 off the dressing gown … the other items on my list I’m happy to wait or not have … I have far too many clothes …

He does not have one, he’s probably made 2 low value orders in total.

thats very kind, but yeah, it’s a nice hospital, state of art modern and all that … hubby has been over today, so we had takeout… the staff are very lovely, rushed off their feet, but very lovely

I’m not sure about sale dates. My 20% off was valid to the 25th November if that’s a clue? I’m tempted to hold off on wearing my items just in case they come into a sale in the next few weeks. I’ll be so annoyed! But I didn’t want to hold off and risk them going OOS as they’re both so lovely. First world problems!

Sorry to everyone who spends in Toast and didn’t get a voucher. I’ve not bought in ages and these items have sat in my basket for about a month. I wonder what the algorithm is….

Mine said to 26th nov, so I’d expect 2 weeks after that ? Surely they have to leave it past the 2 week sale return cut off ??

It’s not sale items though? So not limited to 14 days. I just checked and it’s now extended returns for Christmas so 12th January. Although I won’t be not wearing my items for that long!

Can any Toast lovers recommend similar brands / shops? I’m a fan of Toast, Patagonia, Jigsaw, Arket, Me&Em etc. basically quality fabrics, nice / unusual cuts, beautiful but made to last. Want to find some new shops to consider ahead of Christmas and all the shops I used to like seem to be steadily going downhill in terms of quality

@SealDeal - at a much lower price point than most Toast: Seasalt - rated by a lot of people on here.

At the other end of the price spectrum: Margaret Howell, (makes Toast look cheap🤣), also gets a lot of love.

Margaret Howell never disappoints me, but we do live close enough to the outlet, sea salt erm is very hit and miss, I have a fair few items from the white company and while very it is mostly black/white/grey. The quality feels nice, especially for smarter wear

@Firesideknitting Funny you should mention The White Company, I’ve been looking for some basics - nice sweatpants to wear to wfh in winter and White Company has some that look really nice, natural fibres and will hopefully work with hoodies/cashmere jumpers and merino/cotton l/s tees over the winter. Maybe tempted by cashmere joggers if they go into the same, the thought of them make me so happy.

I have it. It's very warm but it is quite itchy. Some days, I'm bothered by it and not on other days.
It's absolutely gorgeous though.

I've spent plenty on Toast but no 20% for me either 🤔

Oh and I've been looking to see the winners names for the prize draw. Can anyone find them?
