Wide leg trousers

Hello,

I’m looking for wide leg, black (and navy) trousers in a flattering fabric (to go out in) with a flat front. I have a little pouchy belly, so would like fabric with enough stretch and thickness to keep it in a bit, but not really thick fabric so that they don’t fall nicely.

Does anyone have anything that sounds likely?

I am quite pear shaped and these work very well for me. The side pockets do have a potential bit of gape when you sit, which obviously annoys lots of the reviewers but doesn't hugely bother me -it depends what kind of tops you are likely to wear I think. There's a 25% off offer on the website until tomorrow!

@MissingMoominMamma Yes Roman are nice generally. I have some of their elastic band waist navy and black trousers - although the navy has gone a bit green after washing. But I have a few of their blouses and they’re good quality and pretty.

Hobbs have some - gorgeous satin. Structured top, wide leg. I think they are called Vivienne and are £99 or thereabouts.

Just looked - Hibbs update - the Vivienne are velvet, it’s the Judith that are satin.

Yes to these! I was going to share them too. I wear the black to work and they're so flattering and comfy. And don't need ironing!

The M and S ones are amazing,I lived in them last year and wearing them again this year too. You might need to size down and they are fairly long but they come in different lengths,I only needed regular even though I'm tall.

M&S are killing it this year on wide leg trousers
I've bought the ones in black pp linked to above but my favourite were the cream wide leg with cargo pockets, they hang so well, look classy, can dress up or wear with basic top

I have the John Lewis jersey wide-leg trousers (£35) - they look way smarter than their 'jersey' description leads you to believe and are so flattering (not too heavy and a bit of stretch). Also so comfy I've worn them on long-haul flights - no creasing either!

I have these and very pleased with them, a lovely weight, pockets, and a nice belt detail at the back.
