Wide leg trousers

Hello,

I’m looking for wide leg, black (and navy) trousers in a flattering fabric (to go out in) with a flat front. I have a little pouchy belly, so would like fabric with enough stretch and thickness to keep it in a bit, but not really thick fabric so that they don’t fall nicely.

Does anyone have anything that sounds likely?

TIA 😊

Tempted by the M&S ones, what lengths are people getting for height? Reviews suggest they are long, I'm short so unsure whether to get short or extra short

I'm 5'7 with 32" legs and got regular. They go right to the floor. They are long!

I’m 5’2 and bought short and they’re a little bit too long. I can only wear them with heeled boots. I wish I’d bought extra short.

with other M&$ trousers I normally get regular as short are slightly too short.

I'm 5.3 and I buy the short & they're still long. I wear them with stacked trainers, so they nearly touch the floor. I think they look better that way.

The M&S one are LONG! I am 5'8" and the regular length are perfect for me.
It seems strange that average height women need to get short and someone about 1 inch shorter than average would need extra short. What do women who are around 5' do?

I'm 5'3 and have the short ones but I feel they're a a bit short! I like them to pool a bit on my trainers and I feel they are a bit too raised, esp if I wear the waistband at my natural waist (I have a long body and shirt legs, this isn't usually an issue! I suspect the regular will be too long but I've ordered them anyway...

5’7 with 32’ legs and the M&S £17.50 ones are either too long (long) or too short (regular). Their site says they are 33’ and 31’ inside legs respectively which is why I fall in the middle. Going to see if I can find the regular ones again and try them lower on my hips. The long one are even too long for my platform converse.
