Does anyone want to come on my Upper and Lower Bleph and Necklift journey with me?

Having it done this Saturday. I booked it about 10 weeks ago, after dithering for a year or two. I'm almost 54 years old. Eek!

Thanks everyone! I’m feeling fabulous. I had my 6 week review with the clinic today (on the phone). They are very pleased with my progress . The stiffness in the neck is almost gone. And my eyes don’t feel tight anymore. So…back to feeling normal at 6 weeks post Op. I was out last night and for the first time in a long time I didn’t flinch at the photo’s taken. Honestly, if anyone is considering this, don’t hesitate!!

Crikey you look INCREDIBLE!!!! Wow complete transformation, tbh I assumed surgeons overplay how the results will go but it’s like two different people. You looked really lovely before, the after pic you look super refreshed!!

Thanks everyone. For those asking, I had this done at Signature Clinic in Glasgow. There are Signature clinics UK wide though. They do not give a General anaesthetic for these procedures though, so be aware, you would have to have a Local. Looking back, and if I had my time over, I think I would have had a General, because it's not for the faint hearted! The procedure took 4 hours. You can feel the sensation (not pain) of your skin being trimmed off, hauled up and cauterised etc. That said, if you told me that it was a Local or not having the procedure at all, I would 100% do it all again, because the results are worth it to me. I would also make sure, that I was forearmed with pain killers much stronger than off the shelf paracetamol and iboprufen, for the first 48 hours.

I think a necklift alone was about £4k. It'll be on the website. Be careful though. It's mostly best to get a facelift at the same time.

Could I please see a photo of your eye results and ask who your surgeon was please? I am planning an upper blepharoplasty, have been for some time and now my lids are actually making me feel as well as look tired. I think it is the effort of carrying their weight all day! I have made an enquiry with the surgeon who works with Dr Darren McKeown (Glasgow) and with Dr Quaba in Edinburgh but am not committed yet.
Can I also ask how long before your eyes could pass for an allergic reaction rather than surgery?!

I'm having surgery on 15th this month and very keen to share what happens and learn from other people before and after. I didn't go for Signature but only because they kept messing up my appointments and in the meantime I found someone else instead.
