Having it done this Saturday. I booked it about 10 weeks ago, after dithering for a year or two. I'm almost 54 years old. Eek!

Wow OP this is exciting. Can't wait to see the results when the tape comes off. I have a consultation for ptosis correction and maybe bleph (if it's needed) in January and I'm not sure why but I'm scared already 😬

I’m really pleased. My head and eyes are a slightly weird shape due to swelling, but hopefully that won’t last too long. I’ll see if I can do a before and after pic collage.

Hello OP! I notice you're in Scotland - I was wondering if you had your treatments done at Darren McKeown's clinic? I know they make a big deal of having all their procedures done under local anaesthetic. I would deffo prefer a general for something like this - I can't imagine being awake whilst someone slices my face off and hoiks it up a few inches.

HarlanPepper. That’s exactly what they do! Literally slice off and hoik up! 😂 I’m so glad I’ve done it now, but it was scary. I went to Signature Clinic.

Late to the party - but just wanted to add my congrats too. Looking great OP. I can imagine the experience being traumatic under a local anaesthetic - but you powered through and now have your results. Give it a few more days for bruising and any more swelling to abate.

Tempted- I have very puffy eyes and hooded lids..
